Going DPS!!

#1
I was thinking what skills are best to solo lvl at trees and kelpies. My current weapon is a Fairie Icon of Storms. I also have a Golden Trident of Magic, Heroic Ammy, and Revilitation Bracelet. I was mainly thinking of using Lightning and Vines and leaving Storm Touch at 1 but any advice if trees are hard or not and maybe even kelpies too. Also maxing Embrace and Abudance?? or Bark?? or Touch??

***This build may be costly***

Get full diamond armor, use hero boots, hero gloves, wizard crown. That is your armor.

Lux, use hero ammy, energy bracelet, energy ring.

Weapons, diamond icon, golden trident (any kind)

Stats, 180 vit(not include diamond armor) and rest in focus

Skills, max howling wind, lighting, vines, storm and the rest into touch

This is fairly straight forward and lvling is fairly easy, using natures touch after every kill would be enough to heal as wind does help a lot. Energy may be a problem and the 3* may be difficult to kill.

Advice, stay away from kelpies, cast in this order hw, vine, storm, lightning, auto, lightning then it should be dead soon. The trident is for the stat boost mainly as the extra defence is very helpful.

This build works best with trees as they hit slowly with the skills not doing that much damage

Lets start with your mainhand. Get a diamond icon or train your h2h. Your offhand golden trident is actually a great leveling offhand.

Skill wise Godzilla is right on the howling winds aspect. Max it! Amazing skill that makes solo leveling as a druid easy. Your golden trident is a perfect compliment to winds with its bonus to defense and dexterity which increases defense.

Vines and strike are great dps skills but if you use both your energy consumption will be difficult to handle.

Always max natures touch if possible. We're druids after all and we need high heals. Of course higher levels with different gear can create limitless possibilities for druids.

Personally I'd choose bark over embrace or abundance. Reason why for a howling winds build is if i am to get hit through howling winds then I'd prefer it to do minimal damage making healing easier.

Edit: I'd go with casting vines first followed up by winds to get the most out of vines.

Making a druid defiantly isnt cheap, especially if you have energy problems. If you are having energy problems i advise you to use touch or bark instead of storm (id use bark) this way you can still kill at a reasonable pace. If you cant get diamond armor i suggest bumping that vit up to 210 mark.

@maxxee maxing nat touch with dps skills is what you call a hybrid druid i believe ;)

I have max bark, vines, and embrace. With rings my bark is 40, vines is 48, embrace is over 150 a tick. I gave up soloing about 140. Vines is the best dps a druid has. I would put all points in it and skip lighting. It also allows you to heal yourself while it is still doing damage on the mob.

Lol I wouldn't suggest starting out as a druid unless you already have another character. It isn't easy, (even if it IS kinda fun), and can get VERY expensive. Bear in mind that at some point in time, you will need to buy sigils. If I misinterpreted your question, sorry lol.

Going along with what Maxee and the others said, HW is definitely the best choice as your 3rd or 4th skill. Vines makes up for your lack of auto-attack DPS, and Storm Touch (or Lightning Strike), if used properly, can essentially be a nuke. Therefore, this is sound advice coming from people who have obviously experimented with this quite a bit (myself included  )

Hope I helped! :)
