High level campers have a right to camp but low level players should expect to be able to finish their quests by killing the relevant bosses and NOT by buying quest items.

If you want to buy the discs and rems etc then fine of course (I've bought plenty :mrgreen: )

Two solutions already mentioned.

1) more end game bosses. In fact more non quest bosses at all levels but especially high level.
2) make quest items drop only to people who need them and other items to those that don't.

Option 2) surely can't be that hard. If you kill a boss or are grouped at the kill the game queries the database to see if you have completed the quest or not. Then your own drop comes from the "quest" drop table or the "non quest" drop table for the boss based on the queries result.

You still may not get your needed disc or rem or crest ie the same chance you have now.


Wow this would PEEVE the HLWC players (hi levels who camp) but as long as there was other content for them they couldn't really cry foul.

The fly in the ointment is that this extra content would come from OTM. Mmmmm and what is the chance of rapid content production (other than festival stuff) from them?

I think option 1 would help a bit but if spawn rates are slow for good bosses it will likely not help much. There would have to be multiple bosses up at the same time to stop pros from flying around looking for them.

Option 2 will likely fail if the alternate drop list is good. After all the goal is to farm right? Might as well just make all items bound from quest bosses and no gold drop. It could even happen that people make alts who need the quest permenantly camp the map and simply log them when they ks thus leaving a route to just keep doing the same thing. They just xfer the items off the alt if not bound, rinse and repeat.

Idk maybe I'm just too new and haven't gotten around to enough servers to see things. IMO from what I have seen there isn't a big problem.

Its honestly so damn stupid. People in my server dont give a chance to lower levels. Why would a level 150 wan with a sun disc? Sell it for 2k? Its practically saying HaHa you low levels cant do sh*t when we kill bosses. People need to be nice and generous to EVERYONE. Its not just drops for you lvl 150+. Its for everyone and hogging them just means people make the wrong decision and get quartz. I know someone very nice and generous, USMC in my world Sulis is currently letting me borrow his diamond cuirass and greaves. You cant have everythig high levels, gotta give people a chance to experience things, not just buy drops from you all the time. But really, you want 2k drop from fell? Nuh-uh. Let people try.
i help out always with quest bosses if they grp, and if i get called to a boss its on their terms :lol:

Like I do not let a noob that does not need the drops in the group. red bosses. When I solo them. But if he helps I give him all drops. Except is it diamond- something that sells for 6500 in lux shop. :lol:

And he's like,"free" I am luck,"duh!" then he's like,"Thank you!, new best friend!" Yeah go enjoy your 500-1k drop.

Making items bound would be an idiotic idea, do you realize what this would do to clan banks and other things, what if someone who didn't need it got the drop then the rem/tab that is needed by someone out there was just put to waste. The point of a clan bank is to have rems, tabs, and other upgrades for the clan members, the reason why players camp bosses is usually not because they need it but because someone in the clan needs it. What you are suggesting would completely ruin the game and is just because you guys can't get the bosses. If you guys see higher level players camping a boss then be ready to call your clan or if you know you can't get the kill then GTFO and go level to get stronger, or just leave and periodically check in to see if the guy has left. I see people staying at such a low level just running around leeching in boss groups, camping and calling the clan that they are in, when they could've gained so many levels in the time that they wasted their time when they contributed nothing. I think that it shouldn't change and people should just stop worrying about upgrades and go progress in level instead of wasting time for nothing.
