The crap load of health sounds awesome but how long does it take a tank to kill a mob? How good are they at pvp? How much damage do tanks do?

If you have to ask about the usefulness of tanks , you need to level up .

Its all about being a team player u make sacrifices to handle bosses much easier. Well thats how i view being a tank only bosses thats semi fun to tank is aggy but its pretty redundet so to me its just to make the bosses easier for ur clan to get the best possible gear.

Being a tank is great, i love it!!!

Read a bit through this section of the forums to get a better idea.

Best advice from previous post is to lvl up, you will quickly see that tanks are a must for a clan and bosses.

Tanks are more than just hp and bosses, training with tanks are also pretty usefull.

If you have to ask about the usefulness of tanks , you need to level up .

He's actually right though. Without a tank, tough bosses are not doable. Once you level up, you will not only understand, but you will experience the need for tanks.

If a tank has some damage offhand or dps great they are beast at pvp. And as for usefulness the shove comments sum it up

Level 500?

my take on a tank is (since i AM one) is:

1. as a lower level from 1-60 get the type of strength a ranger or rogue would have (maybe 150 ish)
2. there is no such thing as a low level tank (meaning level 1-40) as they would suck
3. level as a hyrbid up till the point where you can get your hands on a lux offhand golden blade
4. when you get it rebirth and put like 20 points in strength (excluding the blade bonus) for lvling purposes and put the rest in vit
5. when you get to high levels (lvl 120+) either transfer offhand to alt or sell
6. buy a lux shield

tanks still do decent damage from what i can tell because when i rebirthed from 245 strength (with offhand) to 95 strength (with offhand) my damage went from like 620 to 560

and my health went from 1900 to 2900

tanks pvp is good because you still have decent damage from offhand and good armor and high health

Other then bosses and group kills nothing really ...

On PVP depending of what classes you are against , you will have 50/50 chance at mid lvls ,but a high end lvls on PVP A tank will loose to balance dps (2k to 3.5k hp) all the time.

Against mobs if you are soloing well the only way to describe is when you watch a video you have play bar and the buff bar so usually you will die before you deal enough damage been a tank.


A tank is like a baby they need alot help from other classes to live , in a group they are strong and solid part of the game , but solo they are weak and defenseless against all other classes. 6k hp is nothing when your enemies does tons of dps .....

I disagree. With vit not having a plateau u get a dps offhand and tanks are strong
