Send support an email instead of an in game ticket. Attach the photos and explain the situation in depth. I would also give them specific times as to when you had last logged in and when you could no longer log in. With any luck the username/password that the account gave out might have occurred after the password to your account was changed. Support should be able to see if the password was changed prior to the username/password disclosure in chat.they were trying to ransom 100k off me and a bunch of people. I do have screenshots of everything, taken from my alt Lumiya, who's a mage in Herne.
Re: Confusion about Stolen/Hacked --> Disabled Account
#12The OTM servers are secure and, to my knowledge, have never been hacked. The only way for someone to gain access to your account is either by guessing your username and pword (not likely), or you gave the info out. Support has checked your chat logs and determined that you gave out your info. It doesnt matter if it was on 4/28 or another day. This is a violation of TOS and we have been warned not to do this multiple times, including the sticky at the top of the page.
Personally, i do not understand why people give out their info, the risk is just too great. I have spent waaay too much time working on my toon to ever risk it. I wouldnt give my own mother my info, lol. I have seen instances where real life best friends shared accts, then one gets mad at the other for some reason and takes or drops all their stuff. It happens.
It is actaully really simple....
DO NOT GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFO TO ANYONE!
Unfortunately, instead of listening to OTM and following the TOs, it looks like you chose to learn this lesson the hard way... Good luck to ya!

#15wow, way to think the lowest of me elvra. i applaud you. a scenario that was never the case. really. if you want proof, you should have been there. because 4/28 i was in Pennsylvania with family, and my iphone was on half battery. i had no other device to dual log with, so whyy would i want to take screenshots of a scam? im not that smart to do that. i will admit that. im not even smart enough to scam PERIOD. so...thanks again for thinking the lowest. and once again, i applaud you.

Re: Confusion about Stolen/Hacked --> Disabled Account
#20I never gave out my friggen info. This is annoying me very much because I never did. The person who was on my account that day when I was on an alternate character DID. Why do people always jump to the conclusion that I gave my info away or that I'm trying to scam people? I mean is it really that common? Or are people looking for a reason NOT to help for whatever reason? Seriously. If u don't believe me then fine. Don't jump to a conclusion and then write YOUR OPINION OF WHAT HAPPENED on here when I'm clearly saying what happened. The OTM servers are secure and, to my knowledge, have never been hacked.
