Dps druid deal good dmg but they have a big energy problem. I made a dps druid and I'm lvl 38 with nearly 1k energy. My strike is 15/15 and vines 10/15. I loose energy so fast that I'm just able to kill 4-6 mobs and then I'm out of energy and I have to wait.

Druid can go DPS, but I would wait till level 125, cause my bro regenleif is just startin to go DPS but if something goes wrong, he has both books, Alteration and the other one. He is pretty smart

I was full support till about 140. Decided to go dps at start of Samhain event so i could kill a witch before i got ksd, lol. Its a lot of fun! May not be able to out dps our clans top rogues and rangers, but i do pretty well. I lay down good dps while still having one of the top heals on svr. Have gotten kill on every boss except for Aggy, and i plan on getting kill on Aggy after update hits...

All you gotta do is go full foc with a little bit of vit to stay alive. Max vines, storm, lightning, touch, rest in breath or another spell. Of course, energy use is a pain so you will need lots of sigils. I have 450 and its still not enough. With gear I am runnin 1080 foc, 275 vit, 47/35 vines 40/35 lightning, and 35/35 storm. Its all about the gear....

Sure you can try and be a dps, but most groups see a druid and invite you thinking you can heal. My vines are lvl 48/35, sure i do good damage but cant take a hit to save my life. Only way a druid can be a dps is to have another druid standing behind them keeping them alive. Imo druids are meant for healing, they are built for it. I would also max vines and not even worry with storm touch or lighting strike, not worth the energy.

Best build for a druid is hybryd , 250 sigils , and Mage casting magic lure and you will be a top class.

Lighting , vines , storm and touch your last skill is up to you i use breath.

If your clan have a lure mages with magic lure you will out dps some classes or contribute to a kill overall, some bosses are weak against magic over all.

that would be me. twice in fact.

its very easy, max all 3 dmg skills and nature touch and calm, that way you can still heal. the calm will be needed to keep aggro off you as you draw aggro faster then any other dpser, even the best geared rogues. id suggest putting more vine and strike rings on then storm touch, as storm touch is slow casted and takes a lot of energy. my stats are 47 vines, 47 strike and 35 storm. do not use any vit if you wish to be true dps and get kills, id say only focus, if you must do some vit id say no more then 150. also stock up on restoration potions, because you wont get anywhere without, i use at least 20 per boss in the otherworld. that can add up to over 200 pots per day if i play actively.

What you all need to understand is Yrck got aggy kill based on the following:

1) He has very high level end game skill points on vines and strike. (Max is 50/50) Storm touch 35 not end game but close engh.
2) He had lure of magic from clan mates. Druids are very comparable with mages if we have a decent lure of magic cast on the mob. (Correction, this was before Mages had 20% casting speed boost. But we are still very decent with LO Magic)
3) As with all casters, to ensure we dont become OP, our safety switch is energy issues due to high level damage skills. Yrck turned this switch of by consuming 20+ energy pots during Aggy fight. That's at least 25k energy consumption and above on a single fight, not considering his sigils and lux energy regen.
4) All stat points were dedicated to focus to maximize damage potential. Obviously 5 vit aggy kill build is not sustainable for solo leveling build.

In short, Point 1,2 and 4 are easy to achieve provided you got the right gear but not everyone is willing to consume 20 and above energy pots just to get aggy kill. Its an extreme build but it works.
