If you wanna be a pvp boss you will keep bolas. If you wanna kill a warrior like I always do then you will keep bolas. Entangle lasts longer than bolas, I think. So it slows them down even when bolas is off so you can bolas and run again. Not said to use for pvp though. More for support.

But do not invest in entangle unless you have nothing else more important to invest it in.

I own my life to bolas, can't solo a big boss without it.

bolas. Entangle takes long to cast and has long cooldown. bolas can be recast before first bola runs out.

further, for most level appropriate mobs, i can knock off 50% or more health before they get in range to attack me.

Using bolas well takes a bit of effort and practice. Time it well with your rapid fire. Be careful when running away that you don't trigger another boss. getting the most out of them by running to edge of range.

This is a skill that lets you solo and keep leveling while other classes are desperately looking for a druid to help them kill the 3 star mobs. You can even solo goretusk (who has no ranged attack) - though it can take a while.

Protectors are easy though so a drudge is lower..?

if entangle just makes them stop, why use bolas?
there must be some major info im missing here

The better the bolas the slower they move and reach you
Entangle just makes their attack slower and the damage weaker.( fits for support, dual device & solo tanking)

PS: read the skill info when upgrading/ installing new ones

Entangle is a great side with a knuckle build as you will always have spare skill points

Technically is not a glitch, you hit ( aka bolas first) the enemy from where he can't see ( under him, in his circle ) stay close to that circle max away 2 meters and he won't see ya while u give damage betwen bolas spam for keeping in that state of blindness. Move away from that line and he will spot you and he will engage on you.

PS: I consider myself a pretty good ranger in mastering this technique
