Hey, most of us either have to go to School on the day when Update launches which will be Monday. Most people want to check out the Update Right when it launches. But when can you? Well, it depends. When they say "it'll be launched May 6th"
When they say that does it Mean at 12AM right when Monday begins or in the middle of the day or what? If it launches on 12AM ill be staying up. But question wanted to know is, What time will the update launch? (12AM, afternoon?)

No one knows..it'll be released when they're ready.

A random time on Monday, then a few hours of server downtime, then an hour of patches

Just to let you know, there will likely be a lot of server downtime on Monday to upgrade the servers for the new expansion and deal with any teething problems, and also the app store takes time to update depending on your country (there is a different store per country).

Cool Scotland time is 5 hours ahead of mine maybe it'll be up at 5am in Scotland! Woooohoooo it'll only be 12AM here!

The new servers will only work for the expansion 4 download.

So if your store hasn't been updated yet you won't be able to play. Some countries update their stores hours ahead of others.

I would recommend not planning to play all day Monday and just bear in mind you may have to wait, and if you want a whole day of play then plan for Tuesday onwards.

There is a chance you will be fine but I don't want people wasting their time taking a day off and then finding their store isn't updated and they can't play, that wouldn't be nice but unfortunately in that situation there would be nothing we could do to help..
