If we all understood that eveyrone has their own battles to fight, insecurities to face, loves to contend and goals to attain, the world would be a gentler place.

If you didnt see it with your own eyes or hear it with your own ears, don't invent it with your small mind & share it with your big mouth.

Please stop using quotes that are out of context. I have put a few of your latest posts into a search bar and they came up to be quotes from numerous people. So unless you give reference you are technicaly plagiarizing. Not to mention the fact that they do not fit in with the subject at hand.

Thank you for the comments, and I do respect your point of view. Here is how I see it. This quote is not about standing up for yourself, or having someone else stand up for you. Here is is a description from Wikipedia:

This quote is actually about how people did nothing as the nazis rose to power, and maybe had they done something this tragedy would not have happened. If the OP wanted to choose a quote about standing up for people, there are thousands of quotes out there that he could have chosen. Ones that have nothing to do with nazis or the Holocaust. So in using this quote in the context that he did, he is saying that had someone done something that maybe BadaBing would not have become powerful. He is essentially equating us with nazis.

Now I know that he probably has not shown any signs of being anti-semitic in the past, but using this quote in this context reeks of dog whistle racism. Here is a definition of dog whistle racism for those not familiar:

Dog-whistle politics is political messaging employing coded language that appears to mean one thing to the general population but has an additional, different or more specific resonance for a targeted subgroup. The phrase is only ever used as a pejorative, because of the inherently deceptive nature of the practice and because the dog-whistle messages are frequently themselves distasteful, for example by empathising with racist attitudes. The Holocaust was a terrible tradgedy that we should never forget, lest it be repeated. Drizzt incorrectly used this quote and appied it to a situation that was not at all related. In doing so he belittled the horrors that took place during the Holocaust, the lives that were lost, and the families that were torn apart. All because he equated the Holocaust with a video game.

Did Drizzt intentionally set out to be racist in his comment? It's possible that did not. It's possible that he simply misapropriated this quote, and the anti-semitism was unintentional. But in BadaBing, we address each instance of racism, intentional or not. By addressing it we can educate and prevent it from happening in the future.

First off drizzit you and I are pretty decent of friends i have known him a long while i truely dont belive he was intending to be racist he just hates to see a bully and sometimes bada has bully type characteristics. I belive he just wanted to stand up for a player who should get a little more respect then that and who was is a good guy and friend . I think if he wanted to have a conversation about certain instances, that we could have had a civilized dialogue about it had he not inferred that my clan is full of nazis.

I think that if he meant to use the quote "stand up for something or you will fall for anything", then he should have done so. Sadly he did not, and he equated the genocide of a people with a guy getting booted from a clan for taking advantage of the clan's trust. This guy Drizzt was allegedly "standing up for", I have no problem with him as a person. In this case he did not uphold the ideals of our clan, and therefore was asked to leave. But he's a good guy, who at some point may want to rejoin us, or maybe he will not. Either way, I wish him the best of luck.

Now I may be mistaken, but I heard that this person Drizzt was "standing up for" was also booted from Uskoci in the past. We let Uskoci take care of their clan business without running to the forums to call them nazis. I would appreciate it if Uskoci would do the same for us.

Upon reading your posts I instantly realised they were quotes. I did some research on a few of them as I was intrigued by your choices. I must say that you have a very interesting taste for quotes. I have to put it out there that you've found quite a few good quotes and I have book marked a couple for future use. Yet that doesn't stop the fact that it is being used with the soul purpose of "trolling" which is why I made the comment that I did.

I would love to have a conversation with you as you seem like a very interesting person, alas this is not possible until you reveal your true identity and stop hiding behind a false one.
