They did help... by announcing at the top of this thread they're having issues and are sorting it out.

Fine. Then make your in-app announcement reflect this problem.

As it is, the top-left corner info icon FINALLY says there are some issues, but it simply says to let you know of problems... For anyone without forums, that would imply sending an in-game support ticket with the issue.

That should be re-written.

Similarly, when one can't connect, the pop-up message makes it seam as if the problem is on OUR end. ie. it says to shut down the device, and if that doesn't work, try another wi-fi.

Again, the problem is obviously not on our end, so that message should be changed.

Your messages should reflect the fact that you have server problems, and that people should be patient (for days).

Please re-write so people without forum access/people who don't run to forums, can be aware.

Otherwise, you will have a legion of upset patrons who have been deleting and re-downloading in an ever-irritating cycle.

You'd think people who really want to get in, would actually go to the forums. They're here for a reason...

I haven't gotten the message to shut down my device due to not being able to connect or trying another wi-fi. I get to the loading server message from home screen then it pops up saying they're having issues.

If people really are hard pressed to know what's going on, they should check the website. If people can access the game there's no reason they can't access the forums and get info on whats going on. It's laziness that is killing society.

This is a foolish post.

Laziness... lol

Here's what busy people who enjoy this game as a pass-time do:

1. they check the forums to see if the app has been updated, they see that several people have updated.
2. they set their device to download, and go back to doing what it was they were busy doing.
3. they patch and find that they can't get into the game; they shut down, log, (as per the company recommendation) and continue to have problems.
4. they delete and re-download, and continue doing what they were busy doing.
5. they find, again, that they can't get into the game.
6. they get frustrated because this entire fiasco has been a waste of time, and not one due to our own inefficiency.
7. they complain on the forums.
8. they respond to twerps with too much free time, (yeah, I admit it is an unfortunate downward cycle from there... we resent the waste of out time, and furthermore despise the insinuation that we are lazy, when in fact we have been working on other projects at 3 am, so as to have free time in the future... funny, that).
9. we get further annoyed at having to explain how we work to those who are cerebrally deficient.
10. we go back to doing what we were doing, and in fact, forget the game for a week or more, because we are busy.

Result, loss of revenue, loss of respect for OTM... when the situation COULD have been remedied with a simple pop-up/flashing red info icon.

But thank your for your analysis of society... as the saying goes... tell me something I don't know.

The updated server message (though I have not seen it) is certain to help people out.

Hi I have an actual issue

My world is gwydion and when I try to do lock pick quest in the sewers I doesn't work. I bought the lock pick in fingals cave and found the chest and when I take the items to the quest guy hes tells me congratulations i have completed the quest but when I look in my inventory I still have the lockpick and the chest. No matter how many times I try to complete the results are the same

Also I have heard friends say that the same thing happened to them but there pick and chest are gone and didnt receive anything which sucks because the lock picks are 4 k each.
