Experiencing the same problem as mentioned where the game loads, you click Login or Continue and the app crashes/closes. I even tried to create a new account, that at least let me to world select screen, upon selecting the world and trying to enter it crashes.

I know most worlds may be full, but I've tried at varying hours to late at night, early morning, random times, so I find it difficult to believe the game crashes upon clicking Login because the worlds are full. I would believe those of us with this issue should be able to VIEW the world select screen before crashing, or have the ability to be told the worlds are full.

Is there a known reason why the app is crashing upon clicking login? I too have tried different wifi's and all suggested techniques provided by the forums (that i've found) and in game. I believe the new update was probably beta tested quite well, but i'm sure you were limited on stress testing and thus we are encountering all these different issues.

Any realistic information for those experiencing this crash issue is welcome.

Is happening on iPad one for me. Is strange that some people's work fine.

Don't think it is device specific. Some iPhone 4's work, some don't. Some iPod 3's work, some don't. I have an iPad 2, and have yet been able to access the game, but there are several posters on the forums who's ipad 2's work fine and dandy. Not sure what the problem is, but I think it must be a glitch in the downloading, rather than incompatibility with certain devices.

Do you mean device specific, as in that specific device (one ipad out of a hundred), or a whole class of devices (all mini iPads)? If the former, yeah, I can believe that. But I don't think any whole classes are completely unable to access. More just individual devices. For instance, the iPad 2:

Gahh! It is driving me nuts! My sister is sitting next to me, exploring Carrowmore on her little 3rd gen iPod, while no matter what I try, nothing will get me past "Connecting...." *crash* :/

Y'all said to let you know of the problems, so you can know how to fix it, so here goes. Maybe there will be some clues in all this constant complaining.

It isn't the wifi connection.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app.

I've powered down my ipad two different ways.

I'm not jail broken.

I have 4.4 gigabytes of memory available.

I play an IPad 2, fully supported, and have the latest iOS version downloaded.

Son has the same issue, my ipad 2 works fine, his iphone 4 dead when loading and crashes every time.
