Re: 545k scammed...All the hours of farming went down the to

I had a similar issue with a person imping that player. I knew him since before the Otherworld was released when he was still only in his lv60s and I was in my 80s. Out of nowhere, I get a whisper from the fake I thought was real that he'd swap his Golden Blade of Magic for my Heroic Amulet of Rejuv and 30k gold, but he said the Blade was on his main and he whispered me from a bank character, so he said "Just give me the stuff now and I'll get on my main in a sec". I believed he was the real one so I trusted it. He logged off to switch accounts I assumed, but 10 minutes pass and he was a no show. Another 5 minutes he came back and said his iPod died, then said if I told anyone he scammed me I should correct it. I asked for him to finish the trade and he said alright, then logged off again. 2 weeks have passed now I believe and now I don't have my Heroic Amulet or 30k gold back. I have a Golden Fire Blade my chief trusted me with the night I got scammed and I still have it while I'm saving for an offhand of my own. I nearly quit playing the game because of all the scammers running around and nothing being done about the items being taken. It's very frustrating when Support gives me the message saying "Not to trust anyone with your items, but we will ban them". It is in my nature to trust those who have earned it, and the player that was impersonated was someone I believed deserved my trust. I can't just tell a close friend in the game "Sorry, I can't trust you." Those words tend to hurt some people, and the social aspect of this game is huge. I have loaned people gold and items that I believe can be trusted and all except that one Heroic Amulet have been repaid. So I don't see myself having the incorrect amount of trust put into someone, but of course when you impersonate my friends, it's very easy to get scammed and not have a clue who really did it, making me at first think it was my actual friend. It isn't enough to just ban the scammer, in my honest opinion, to keep a player from quitting the game over people scamming them and laughing about it because it's "fun". (Yes, I've had a scammer admit to me he scammed one of my friends and said he was a noob and that it was hilarious) This is literally and honestly the best game I have ever played and have invested almost a couple hundred dollars I earned, which when I'm getting scammed out of the items I had to buy platinum to afford, I see it as actual thievery and would like a fix or some form of compensation for this ongoing and widespread issue between the players in the game. Because right now, saying not to loan out your items or gold doesn't seem to do very much. People are still getting scammed and scammers are still coming up with new ideas to take someone's Fiery Axe of Conquest or Talisman of the Stars as I speak. Thank you for reading and apologies for the ranting.
