Plus we still have no way of telling how much energy other players in the group have. An added energy bar below the health bar would work wonders.

I actually like being a support mage, but feel like my hands are tied, because I have either randomly spam boosts (often to people who don't need it) or spam invitations to boost ("Anyone need boost? How about now?). :roll:

I'm really hoping this comes out in the new engine.

I was under the impression that you gave the energy boost skill to mages to encourage group leveling. A druid doesn't have the boost skill, so the mages in the group help support the druids, like how the druids support the players that need health. I know I have often been asked for boosts by druids and consider it part of a mage's support role.
The problem is, everyone wants to be DPS.
The game was designed for warriors to tank, druids to heal, rogues to damage, mages to support all classes and rangers to fight from afar and not get hit.

This went well until:

Rangers decided they wanted to match the damage of rogues, so OTM gave in, hence knuckles.
Mages wanted to stop supporting others, so got a boost and became main DPS, so they now don't use energy boost on others that need it.
Druids got bored of just healing, so went attack and now run out of energy.
Warriors, basically can still only tank.
Rogues, basically can still only DPS.

What I'm saying is, the two supporters, mages and druids dont like supporting anymore, hence they keep running out of energy.
Intriguing point. However, I don't know that it is entirely accurate and a bit of an oversimplification. My mage is dps. I have him outfitted with a number of energy regen items in addition to having dedicated a number of points to energy boost. Admittedly, this has been at a sacrifice to skills (before update 4) such as fire cloak and various lures. It allows me to solo, contribute to boss fights quite effectively, and still provide support to druids who need a boost as well (yep, I've spent a number of fights as the boost b***h). While I have friends who aren't happy that I don't have a lot of points in certain lures, I still can both support and dps. While I was considering a change before the update and wanted to see the new skills, choices like that are part of the process with ch.

Perhaps to urge people to play druids/mages as supports, they should lessen the amount of energy needed for support skills?

Who wants to play a support healer when you're always running out of mana? Druids aren't exactly cheap to level up or be outfitted to properly support.

I think what i was more saying was that if a mage stays pure support, with boost and sacrifice, cloak and lures, he shouldn't run out of energy.
If a druid stayed heals, with the odd boost and meditate, again shouldn't run out of energy.

My druid is only heals and never runs out of energy, even in a 30 minute fight and constantly healing, barking and warding, when I change to 50-50 i always run out of energy.

My earlier post was just pointing out that nearly everyone want to be doing DPS with some support.

Come on OTM, druids love you but you seem to hate us currently :(

Just take us out of combat mode when healing/buffing :D

We know deep down you want to see us all having over 9000 smiles while we heal our friends :D

Bring back joyful druidry. It would be really nice if you would double skill points available to casters ;)

Well after reading this post, i have found that people are feeling that people are getting on admin entirely too much. Relax they are going to fix what they need to. Its not a bug. Admin has found a way to make the game more difficult. And some people that were at the top dont like that. We just have to figure out how to play the game a different way.

So how do i go about getting a refund? I cant believe this problem is still there. Ya druids shouldnt have to have energy sigals to heal efficiantly......but guess what?.....they do and now they aren't working the proper way they did when i shelled out all that damn money. Why did you feel the need to nerf the people who support them game in this fashion? Had i of known prior to making a druid it would be this pathetic on bosses i would have saved myself time loads of money and as of now frustration. But with the way game is currently set up with the amount of time and elixers to level another toon to catch up with the people i enjoy playing with is insane.

Now i understand where people are coming from saying this change was supposed to be more this or that,but let us be honost. I was forced to buy sigals to be a competitive healer to begin with. So to take that away after ive spent so much time and money to build something that thus far i fel is useless.


Now to the comment about druid getting a new energy buff spell....i already have trouble getting the manditory heals i need right now with a buff and a half with the amount of skill points we have. So with the current skill point system simply adding another spell is another joke in its self. Why not fix sigals to what they were when we spent all that money on them? How come the product i paid for is now a problem but the money i sent works just fine still?

Oh and will the refunds be givin back to my iTunes account or will it be a plat return?

So perhaps some cheaper good energy regen items that are only for Druids? 50 point amulet for example or even better a charm.
