A shield is always great for tanking bosses, that's definitely a great choice. Unfortunately, shields arn't too great for soloing and not reliable for decent dps, so an offhand weapon is also nice to have. It sucks having to spend an extra 500k as a tank, doesn't it lol.

The new offhand axes are probably the best way to go for dps. If you havn't and dont plan on buying a haste ring, get an offhand dagger with a haste bonus.

I have 295 strenght and 615 vit

thats not a tank thats a hybrid -.-
for hybrid i would probably suggest lowering your stats down to like 225 strength and the rest in vit
and with a offhand WEP for leveling purposes

if you can get both a wep and shield
or for best results get an essence blade

I have 220 strenght because the golden ice blade adds 75 strenght

oh ok
anything with 300+ strength is considered a dps in my book
so with 295 strength you would be like an almost-dps hybrid lol
220 is a better strength
change your sig to "hybrid"
