Re: Now you r taking the f***ing piss

#13
I've done about 10 books of alt over last week to get a build that i can solo level with and now my max hit has been changed from 3500 to 1687
That not a little tweak thats a full on f*** over i want my books back that ive used in last week
Why all the complaining? mages hitting 10k ice blast is crazy. Yes 45% is alot but u can still out dps a ranger easy.

Can you provide some more information on precisely how you feel Mages have been affected by this patch?

We take all the feedback we receive on-board, but simply saying that something doesn't work isn't enough.
I am a warrior but i observe a lot based on who in my clan is killing bosses and also who is in my leveling group with me. First of all id like to thank you for the warrior fix . It really helps. Now back to mages. I feel as though mages should have been able to do that damage they did before the patch. It was completely fair. I am not a whiney rogue or mage or ranger or druid. Just a warrior, a class who rarely speaks out due to its skill simplicity. Now for mages i believe firmly that they were up to par with almost perfectly setting their class. Rogues needed a buff in damage, but they should not burst higher than any caster. I also believe rangers should have a more utility role in the team. Its the nature of their skills. UTILITY is key. They should not be an overwhelming dps , its not their role. Warriors should be support due to many skills pertaining to taking abuse from enemy attacks. But dps is also a viable option. Druids should be support and i think their dps is fine. They are a support geared class just as warriors. Mages are BURST NUKES, meaning they should hit the hardest ALWAYS. Its the nature of the beast. Now to address rogues, rogues are fine in terms of skill dps, skills should not be their focus . Its a melee class so there should be emphasis on personal buff skills (either ACTIVES or PASSIVES.) to allow high dps in "right clicking" which is the act of simply meleeing on your enemy.

My suggestion: please return all debuffs back to previous settings.
Create 1-2 skills based on emphasis on rogue right clicking. Such as a spell that creates a buff of attack speed for 20 seconds or so that can be cast as a support spell as well. Its attack speed can stack and scale with the amount of points put in to it. It should also stack with haste armors and effects.
Another rogue skill id love to see implemented (also can be an ACTIVE or PASSIVE.) would be another spell buff for daggers or knucks that would cause melee hits to ignore an amount of armor and can stack with shatter. Its percentage of ignore armor would also scale to meet the amount of skill points put into it. This buff can also last for 20 seconds. It should also be allowe to be cast upon allies if you wanted to buff them.

These skills should be dexterity based . And scale appropriately . The haste effect could be a passive called efficiency or as an active it could be called hasteful guise . Now for the second spell as a passive it could be named ignore armor or etc. as an active it could be called cloak and dagger or disregard for opposition. Something like that.
Please pm me if you would like any ideas, i would love to help with class balancing or anything like that. I have some great ideas to share. And please everyone post feedback on these ideas, i do feel as though these need to have some sort of voice in the game.

Re: Why the aggressive mage nerf ?

#20
ok heres whats happening community:
first ice blast is now thrown away due to this *** power less dmg of 45%!!!! now even fire bolt hits higher. one thing do u prefer casting 4fire bolts or doing 1ice blast? think about it!!!!
second energy shield. mages were just starting to be able to solo train but now our shields are unfathomable again and the energy cost is still way high for less protection WTF???? if it was about pvp (which i doubt because warriors could break it now easily) u just couldve decreased the power of the shield in arena like u did with heals and buffs.
Third 10% is ok that i do understand but 45% wtf
fourth u increased the power of other classes and totally reduced the mages, why???????
fifth im repeating myself a lot but for the armor we have ( it suks like never) it is IMPOSSIBLE to stand up against mobs if you do not have BIG aggra drops or a huge luxury set of items in ur dispositions.
sixth i just call that BS im an ice mage and i thought this new expansion was awesome to diverse the choices for mages. today everyone will just go back to the old version of fire mages.
seventh change this stupid nerd now!!!!!! decrease of 10% not 45%! people complained bout it because they were jealous of our amazing dmg but tell u what, we have no ARMOR!!!!! we must do dmg to survive or mages are completely useless
server belenus:
dragonspirit lvl156 mage
dragonarrow lvl122 ranger
Hmmmm lvl126 druid
