Guys the fact is my ice mage is crap now. 45% was to much end of story.

What the heck does nerf mean? A gun? Plus mages aren't op

I didn't respond to the rage mage posts, because I'm not raging. I am, however, more than a little concerned about reducing the effectiveness of e-shield. Let me make this clear: I am NOT dps specced--I am a support mage, mostly luring and boosting. I DON't try to solo-level--I level in groups. I am what it appears OTM has planned for mages.

In addition to all the points made above about how little armor we have, reducing eshield will greatly impair me as a support mage. The higher leveled mobs ARE harder--their AOE has a huge area and huge damage (see the troll AOE thread). In my level groups I was often getting one-hitted by the mob before the patch. God only knows how many idols I'll have to use after the patch.

I guess I can post here to let you all know. <sigh>

think of it this way. if you hit a giant dragon with a little dagger or shot a flaming fireball at it, which one do you think would do more damage? I'm pretty sure the flaming fireball would hurt the dragon just a little bit more.

I said best nuke damage, but over time rogues should win. Any fight longer than 5 minutes should go to the rogue, short fights i am 100% cool with the mage winning due to BURST damage.

Watson, your ideas are wayyy off. If you dont like it go play a different game. You are asking for mages to be like god to the rest of classes and for them to be better than everyone. Thats not what classes are for as you say. They are for being able to EQUALY combine their power to carry out tasks together. You also need to learn respect and you dont get to talk to people like that just because your daddy lets you talk to him that way. Get a reality check. We are not facebook and dont want hissyfights spamming everything.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Mages were not equal with the other classes and 99% of the people that agree with you are mages because they liked being OP. Go try a ranger and you will see that they are still underpowered. Trust me, i have a high level mage and ranger

Obviously you don't understand about class roles. Mages are supposed to be powerful. Look at every other game out there. Other classes shouldn't be boosted to same lvl. That's why there different classes. They don't make a mageeogueranger.

Rogues hit hard
Warriors get hit
Druids heal
Rangers...well we just suck tbh, probably soloing stuff was the idea

Now i did actually agree with your original post, but after this update, yous have all gone power crazy, yes i can see your side of the argument, but seriously, 10k damage? Kinda unfair on the other DAMAGE classes no?
