Actually you know what the biggest flaw about the sigil refund is... Anyone can ask for a refund of the sigils on high lvl toons and then place the sigils back on their low lvl alts. It's a crock of crap if you ask me. No one should get a refund, it's stated in the OTM's rules that they can change items if they wish. It's not like they completely nerfed them, they are very minutely different than they originally were.

This is my point why refunds are stupid. He has gotten a refund for sigils that he likely no longer needs and used the plat on something else. So what if he is buying sigils again, the point is he isn't going to buy 35k plat on sigils again, only on the characters he needs or better yet buy them on new characters to use to lvl up. It's a crock of crap and you should take everything he got away.

Everyone can use Sigils to avoid Meditate and that was not affected.by Combat Engine change.

BUT if admin hints they might remove them forever then everyone OTHER than Druids will start shouting "no, No, NO" and Druid concerns can be ignored by OTM.

No costly development for a fix. Great strategy and who cares if Druids get a slap in the face.

Oh and we will all feel the pain when Druids start playing their Alts and we have to chug Restos non stop in Boss fights, well more than we did before.......

I really don't think Admin or otm has all these hidden motives that many of you think they do , I honestly think the man wants the game to be as fun for everyone as possible. Just look at the dude on this thread talking about how he got 35k plat refunded but is gonna rebut sigils when he needs em (I think his post is full of over exaggerations) .

What everyone seems to ignore is if Admin wanted to he could have responded to all the sigils threads by saying LOL , it's plain as day to see they want this game to be as good as possible and frankly I'm offended at the childish conspiracy *** many of you guys are coming up with these days , if I were admin I would be saying some really mean stuff to alot of you

I think sigils should be returned to the plat store.

The amount of time it takes to come out of combat mode still seems kind of long considering that the definition of combat mode has been redefined. Assuming the combat mode is core to the game mechanics and cannot be patched via content updates, lessening (again) the amount of time to leave combat mode would alleviate some of the pain.

While it may be OTM's prerogative to make modifications to these things, the only way sigils could be attained was via real-world currency and it is lame to reduce their practical effect so much after the fact.

they are only offering it temporarily due to changing the system so drastically that it completely changed the playing style and knowledge of the game. The only other time they have ever refunded sigils from my knowledge was on accidental purchase were someone meant to buy 10 sigils and bought 100. Its completely fair to offer a refund in this situation due to the effect the change they made had on the game.

as for the sigils back in shop i really hope they put it back otherwise those with them currently will have a huge advantage over the new players that cant get them and if you decided to keep them out only fair thing would be to remove them from all characters and refund everyone.

You completely missed the point. That player is stating that he got a refund, yet is going to buy sigils again.... The only reason he is doing this is to swap the sigils out from one player and onto another. That's fine if you want to give a refund for sigils, though I completely disagree because 1. OTM can legally change them and everyone agreed to that when purchasing plat 2. they have already benefited from the sigils for months if not years 3. people are just swapping them between toons.

I used the example earlier, but I'll say it again. It's like buying a car and driving it for a year. You like it at first, but notice something breaks on it one day. In real life, you are screwed and have to deal with it. In Celtic Heroes OTM says "Hey no big deal! We will give you exactly what you paid, no sweat!". The point here is that people have already benefited from them. They should not all of a sudden be allowed to swap it out for the next best thing. Nothing is guaranteed for life, nor was anything ever stated in the TOS. As a matter of fact, it says that things are subject to change. Well this is change deal with it. OTM giving full refunds is horse crap because everyone benefited and can now use the old plat on elixirs because they have loads of in combat regens now. It's like hitting the jackpot and getting twice what you spent. It makes ZERO sense.

the thing with ur car story is that u are responsible for the keep up on the car and if it broke due to u driving it and ur usage u obviously have to fix it ur self. Lets change the story u buy a car go to drive it expecting it to work as stated and find out it doesnt work at all as u were told there are now many problems with it and so u want ur money back. Sure what that person above is doing is a flaw but many ppl bought sigils with the knowledge of how they work but then come to find out it doesnt work at all how they did after the update. Sure they say things are subjected to change but that only means that the item could be changed after the fact so any new sigils bought would have been changed not things bought prior to the change because they cant keep existing sigils working one way and new ones working another they are offering a refund in plat not real money but if someone really wanted their real money back they could go through apple and demand it back. I have seen that happen many times for the same thing what OTM just did and every time apple had the money returned to the people.

This guy is a total troll.... trys to buy stuff from players but then when you agree on a price he doesnt tell you his name. He claims he has tons of money and will show you it but he won't. Dont listen to anything he says cause i can almost assure you hes not telling the truth no one on danu knows who this guy is...
