I think I'm quitting mage... It's unbelievable. Everyone complains about mages being OP, they aren't.

I hate to be rude but your whining is just so annoying! Just quit the game if it is that much of a problem.

I haven't even seen you on your mage for months. I wouldn't expect you to care, but I would expect you not to get in the way of the thread

Maybe you'd feel the same if it happened to the class you play. I dislike people who don't take in account other players just because they were 'better off' a recent or upcoming patch. If people want to vent on forums about a recent change that made them unhappy why not try and talk and find a compromise solution? How are we going to achieve that without discussion? (Not taken into account those hardcore ragers that slated everything and acted slightly OTT)

I bet you'd feel the same if your class got nerfed. Maybe some mages were OP, they should, they worked hard to find the right build. Not everyone hits a 9k shards for god's sake. Those who do probably have awesome rings and go mostly focus.

Overall I feel the patch has hindered mages from effective solo-levelling.

They decrease our dmg AND they decrease our shield dmg absorb. Not just our dmg, our 'shield' too. :|

Hi there, we have been doing extensive testing and are looking into ways to make energy shield a better gameplay mechanic, currently it's very binary either you have a shield or you die which isn't that great. There should be several strategies rather than having to have a shield all the time, so with that in mind we will be looking into any suggestions about this. As always we will also be listening to any requests resulting in balance such as this one.

They should've left eshield alone. If they know we die without eshield, why nerf it?
