Mages are still the most powerful class damage wise. They were buffed so much in the update that you think the reduction is massive, but it really isn't. Mages still do a lot more damage than they did in comparison to update 3. The same cannot be said for some other classes.

So stop whining.

Are longshot and sharpen weapon for rangers also considered skill boosts to keep up with rising melee damage? We didn't see rising melee damage with rangers, so it would be in skills, correct? Not saying we should have quite the dramatic increases mages got (as everyone knows mages should always be wicked dps in every game), but even so, one would assume the new ranger skills would be stronger than they are.

I'm not trying to be flippant here, but even with the latest patch, rangers still seem underpowered.

Admin id suggest you try and level a mage its rediculas now and im not rolling over on this one even if i end up ks noobs on quest mobs and ruining whole game for everyone ive spent two years playing mage for you to come along and rip guts out of it

Before the patch, mages were 2 hitting mobs their own lvl, that is just rediculous even for the class that is suppose to be the top dps.

It takes about 15 seconds for me to kill a two star on ranger. You mages being able to kill a FOUR star in that time is ridiculous.

I disagree with you. Yes mage got a damage boost,probably bcs we cant solo anything without it?
Mage best damage class? Please..rogues hitting 1200s auto each 1,675seconds isnt damage? Imo mage was perfect before the big nerf and now people who were whining got the mage class grounded...
