Yeah,they werent op in the first place, with every other class having higher armor than us. And our skills just got way weaker. I think otm is looking at the mages from the low-level-non-mage-classes' perspective. I admit that as a low level mage doing pvp, i was really strong. but after leveling up, i get killed way easier by the other classes. as a result, i dont accept duels because other classes are stronger. And now otm weakens us even more?!?! ._."I think I'm quitting mage... It's unbelievable. Everyone complains about mages being OP, they aren't.

#32The total opposite is happening. High level players think that high level mages are very strong. They are but! Most of them have sigils and all of that stuff. The energy shield nerf was completely unnecessary, the energy cost is extreme as it is. #34Before patch i was using 10-15 pots Per. Lix now im using over 30 Per. Lix all the mobs break my shield (lvl 39) in seconds and if i dont have shield i need spam pots cause our stupid armour and now i just can kill 1-2* mobs
Its ridiculous use almost 40 pots Per. Lix wen other class dont even use 10

#37+1 on energy shield. Costing more energy than the health it protects is ridiculous. If the protection was reduced by 25% the energy cost should have been reduced as well, then I wouldn't have as much of an issue with it. Going to work on some more builds and try and figure it out but energy shield is almost not worth the points now.

#38Ok my opinion on this subject mages have the weakest armor and our dmg is based off energy so we have less health I thought we were good with the shield idk why that was weakened but our strong attacks take so long to recharge so weakening us is not good bc now I can't lvl without help bc my shield sucks now and I dnt do enough dmg to kill anything fast enough before I die I want a happy medium my name is fire breather in the world of crom I need to be able to play and not have to rely on others to help me lvl or make another character to help keep me alive pls find us a happy medium to this issue pls thank you

#39The nerfing is absolutely ridiculous. I hit hard because I have a high level, maxed abilities, great gear, and a lot of sygils. Even before the nerfing, I would still be screwed if an evade happened (and that happens quite frequently). Not to mention the slow regen of the skills being used. If I happen to die, my dps was cut in half for two minutes as ice attunement has to regen to be cast again. Before the nerf, mages still had many deficits to overcome. I think that because players saw how hard the highest level mages could hit, all complained. But those hits are not fast, repeating hits as a rogue or ranger might hit.
Reducing e shield is the craziest thing ever. When it breaks, that's it, we die. So essentially otm has taken away any hope of individual leveling by decreasing our shield 25% and reducing our hitting power. Once you use shards and blast the mob better be dead, or they will kill you before anything regens fast enough to cast again.
I have 3500 hp and died trting to kill a 150 one star mob (not a wyvern). Game isn't fun anymore. This needs to be fixed.
