if the person can manage to hold whatever boss it is off until the rest of the group arrives then they should get kill
if they die...well then the boss resets and someone else can attack and get kill

First hit won't work. I've played other MMO's with first hit = lock and they are riddled with BOTs that react faster than a human. First hit lock would be the end of this game, just like the others I have played. The current system works better than any system I have seen to date.
OTM should patent the target lock tech :)
For sure, this is where so many MMO's have failed. This is by far the most thought out system I have seen.

No.. One can not simply buy a dd off a rival clan.

They would over price and laugh because i cant get one myself.

Plus DDs and Mind tabs sell for good money.. 25k for a dd and 50k for a mind tab.
That is mostly how i made all of my money, now i cannot at all, Killing falgren takes 5 minutes, thats how easy it is to make money with tiny effort, farming gold takes hours, Falgren is not there to be farmed by people his level because of target lock and those who farm it never level.

Somebody said i don't need dds as they are a quest item, those 'noobs' who beat me on falgren didn't need it either.
They simply sell them to there clan members which makes there clan progress which we do not want to happen as we want to stay supreme.

I agree with the OP. If I want to camp falgren, who's to say I havnt earned that right? I feel as though I am being punished for buying plat and getting to a higher lvl. For those of you who havnt figured this out already, target lock doesnt help with griefing in the least bit. If a high lvl kills a lvling mob that is locked on an appropriate lvl character, he ruins the xp. All target lock does is allow noobs to grief the dedicated players on bosses. In my opinion, it is a fundamentally flawed system that does not accomplish the desired goal.

Everyone starts somewhere. So, for those people who are lvl 90, how is it fair to them that they cannot kill a necessary quest boss because lvl 150s want to solo and sell the drops for exorbitant prices? It isn't fair to low levels. End of story. No matter how much you complain about it, it will never be fair. Stop taking the easy way out and farm like everyone else does.

There is no earning a right to camp low level bosses and that is where you are flawed. You have earned nothing. You were simply there before other people, nothing more. Just because you join a game a few months earlier than another player does not give you the right to bully everyone in game. The sooner you kids start understanding that, the better. Killing bosses that you do not need below your level is bullying and nothing more.

I believe the desired goal was to help the lower levels who were complaining about being ks for boss drops. In the op the complaint is that the lower levels are locking and taking their kills while they try to farm the drops to sell. Seems to me like it exactly hit the mark!

These other players don't need them either.. They farm and sell them, now they can always win them and sell them..
So now we can't supply our own clan with them and there clan is rolling in quest items eh?
And these players stay the same level for months.. That shows they are not dedicated, they just run around 'trying' to kill bosses and not leveling so they can kill them easier.. But the game has made it easy for them so they will just be rich noobs.

+1 Dog , why should we be punished for advancing in a game ?

It's not level appropriate quest needing people that are killing for drags , that's a myth. Possibly or eventually that may be the case but not now for certain.

It's not otms fault that so many people cried instead of leveling up , it's certainly easier and requires less dedication to cry for a change on forums than to level up and win a FFA.
