So recently a little Idea popped up in my mind about the new "HawkHurst Chest" smuggler clothing. I did the quest a few good times, running around the sewers were a pain and so were finding the best areas to get drops for my chests. Later on after selling my clothes to shop I had a little Idea that grew into this.

What If HawkHurst chests were deemed free, or you can just "Ask" the Lock Pick merchant for one, and he gives you one for 100 coins. You can then start something called the HawkMerch money making technique. I know this sounds like a wacky Idea, but you'll end up seeing that this can turn into one of those money making jobs that appear in many other Multiplayer MMORPG's. So basically you buy the lock pick for 100 coins and then go around the sewers finding hawkhurst chests and the clothing found inside can have different types of clothing which include all smuggler clothing and in a few hawkhurst chests,and the rare fashion clothing is the new white-glow smuggler fashion. The smuggler clothing then sells for it's prices that are listed now, so you can sell things from chests at a profit. Buy a few hawkhurst lockpick's and then run around and get a few chests and then sell the profited fashion clothing to shop for 400-1800 depending on (color?) and where the piece is located "gloves, torso, boots, hat."


What will this bring?:

- A medium level way of earning cash through HawkMerching also known as HM.
- New economy or merchandise to the worlds.
- New players from all levels to explore and ride along the sewers.
- New job for people to spend time on.
- Instead of leveling for cash, you can merch for cash.
- New White Fashion white-glow smuggler armor.
- Time waster, fun, communitive, interesting, competitive way of earning cash and explanding Celtic Heroes potential.


I wanted to make this topic short, blunt, and also powerful. The goal is to let you guys imagine a world with HM and maybe even more jobs to earn cash and have fun/waste your time on the worlds. Please include your Ideas & adds to this topic and also keep it to an "Argument minimum" kind of post and just be open with your Ideas, because after all we are here on the forums to help the game.

It would be great if you guys could reply with a post about what you guys think about this post and the new idea it brings and that would be fantastic because I want to see where you guys stand on this.

Not sure I understand you it sounds like u want to just buy chests for 100g or get free, open instsntly, then get 400-1200g? Not gonna happen.

Well I'd make it realistic by having an auction house. Selling stuff to an npc merch in most any mmorpg fetches far inferior prices to live players. Even mass selling catacomb weapons to lvl1-5 nubs would be hugely profitable if selling wasn't so difficult.

I'd give a -1 because I've been making 5-8k and even up per chest by simply selling to pro players that are into fashion. With multiboxing my semi-noob lvl80 ish characters I can make 20-30k per hour - even getting over 40k. pretty good money already and untill I have 1-1.5m equips per character I'm not even remotely interested in fashion. I'm sure this will decline as the few dozen serious buyers get full banks and stop buying but by that time I can save and sell after the next update probably for deecent long term money.

Put simply an auction house would take the economy so stagnant it smells and provide some refreshing atmosphere. Seriously I'm going to need carpel tunnel surgery if I keep trying to merch by shouting.

Who even mentioned we were talking about Maclir chests? We are talking about the new hawkhurst Chest quest, nobody ever mentioned Maclir chests from the plat store. Nice try but you made yourself look stupid.

Don't see how I'm smart I'm pretty dumb ill admit that and u don't barley make a profit for hawburst chest only maclir chests (<-all i did was recommend to you to make 2x profits by those while they last) and and I suggested the maclir plat item precious post did i not? Lol u made ur self look stupid

Also his merching idea sounds dumb haha u make like 3M when you sell 400 maclir chests and uh that's 5.5k each cuz u never know what it may contain a item worth More than the bought price and u get a decent item 70% of the time so I was reading Frostnights merching guide it was more motivated than this topic haha this merching what dean posted is so lame
