Sorry, but out of frustration? It doesn't take a day to fix things... Obviously ALOT of people are impatient.
A day? Tis was done on purpose. Good druids were saving players from having to spam plat items to stay alive. By good druid i meant the ones of us that spent 100s of bucks to be a monster with infinite energy. Your negative comments just shows how little u understand druid mechanics,so please go back to your respective forum and cry about mages more please.
I know every little mechanics possible, with EVERY class. I'm a pro at this game... Ovbiously
What level is your druid by the way?

I could toot my own little horn like regenleif does
My touch skill level is 46 (+8 +4 +3 +1).. thats the same energy equivalent to a lvl 180 with a grand and crystal ring... Just because I am a lower level that you DOES NOT mean my energy usage is any less than yours.

I am not pure focus, with 250 vit. Your assumptions are rediculous.

All I am saying is that class balances will eventually be restored, and you may either quit the game only a week after its release or adapt to the new builds. So please stop the endless complaining about druids: we get it. If you want to help, then find a specific thing that could be changed and go start a petition! I will most likely +1 it!
Pike knows me and most on Rhinnon know me, I know how to play my toon and I know most if not all the tricks to conserve energy. The issue is none of them worked.
try maxing meditate: it is "afk" while your in combat, but once you leave combat it starts running on it's own. That means one regen per touch, and if you time the heal with the tank's hp (so if your heal is 1500, and the tank has 3000 hp, heal when the tank has about 1/2 hp left) then you can easily get 3-4 ticks in, even more if your max your bark and/or abund.

Also, I THINK energy harvest may be useful if you find some good rings for it, as I am expecting a boost for it soon...

One secret that you might not know, when in a group breath does not start battle mode if you cast it on yourself. So pause, wait for sigils or regen spell to start then cast on yourself. If you are already in battle mode you won't come out. Need to wait 3 seconds for rest mode to kick in, then move where the cast will benefit the most players and breath yourself.
If we as druids share any tips we have, we make the game more fun for everyone else, and make it less expencive. Too bad we dont have an aoe group bark spell. Happy healing!

Meditate is great if you're able to sit idly by im between casts, majority of druids don't though. From cast to a chunk of cool down we're in combat now, i recast before I'm out of combat. Making both meditate and sigils enadequate, as a high number of other druids are finding aswell...

All our mages are settup with e boost now, which makes it possible to successfully get through a boss fight with full energy. Except you just about need one mage per druid to sustain this and theres not always a mage on hand, which sends us back to square one... :?

I could be wrong, but having rings increase your touch to a level of 180, still does not use the energy of a 180. And by the looks of it, being a one trick pony of natures touch, to me means you have missed the point of druid play completely.

I find that a large heal allows for more time to regen, for example:

If you are healing a tank with 4k hp, and your heal is 2k, then don't heal until the tank has about 1/2 hp left. Basically, do not heal until you need to. This allows for some out-of-combat time = regen time. Also, if you max bark and embrace (maybe abund) then the time is takes for the tank to reach that 1/2 mark is extended even more, allowing for even more energy regen.

IMO I would reccomend going either Touch based or Embrace based: using those two skills with the strategy noted above can really help you during both leveling and bossing.

As ToeTag mentioned, breath does not start combat mode. This was ver useful before the latest patch, but since the time for exited combat mode has been reduced it is no longer nesassary (casting time for breath and removal from cambat times are equal now I believe). However if you use breath, and need that extra heal, i would recomend it (I personally max touch, embrace, bark, and meditate).

One more trick: casting a skill on someone who is not in combat mode will place you out of combat mode. So, if soemone is watching you kill the boss, or if someone just resed, then casting calm on them is a quick and efficient way for you to leave combat and get a few regens in before you continue healing.

Good Luck bossing,

What bosses and area are you leveling at where tank is only one taking damage? Lets say our tanks have 8k health give or take and the boss is whacking them for 2k+ and dealing out around 2k+ aoe damage....how often do you think we get to just sit there and regen? I have 3k health to survive the mile radius aoe damage. So i know our tanks have more than me. Rosmerta has a pretty good variety of some great druids all of which understand game mechanics are having serious energy issues.

Group heal is mandatory now at this lvl of game play and to make it worthwhile it costs arou d 800ish energy. So imo in order to keep up with such high energy demand may e our heals should get a buff of some sort or alot more energy reduction needs to be considered.

Mobs hit harder alot more aoe and nothing has been done to buff heal output or lowering energy consumption. So as of right now while all the other classes were buffed in some way or another support druids are more or less the same as last update. But with one huge glaring issue, energy regen sucks since the few hundred i spent on sigals dont work like it used to. So i feal like a watered down version of last version of game. Just saying.

Add sweefish from gywdion personally it is depressing that such a good mmo has taken a bad path with the focus of the padt two updates on increasing the level cap by over 50 levels each update it has caused druids to suffer

I am still playing but only as a damage dealing class the reality is that effective leveling is best done as a class that deals damage - alf on our server would not have had a chance to reach 190 like he has if he was a druid - it has become increasingly difficukt to enjoy the full contebt of the game as a druid - I agreebeing a druid is an art I have never had an issue with energy conservation - even in the new update but what I do have a problem with is leveling up - every mmo I play I have prefered to play a healing class but OTM you have ruined it for me

I have a low level druid alt and play a mage main. One of my jobs in boss fights is to boost druid energy. Does anyone else do this? Of course I have my own energy issues, but there are times where rather than met out full dps, I stay in the rear with the gear and help keep druids energized so they can keep the rest of the boss fight going. Is this something that you have considered? And if so how has it worked out? Are your mages not helping in their support role by supporting your druids?

its like this, if you have reached a decent level playing druid, well, you probably know the "art" of the character. It is no more artful however, than being a good -insert toon type here- All classes have good and bad players. I know some rangers who make better healers than some of the people who play druid!

The solo play of druids has always been pretty poor, not in being able to kill mobs, but the shear amount of time it takes to kill it, but really, thats fine, we are not a dps class, primarily. I reached 125 as a druid with a hybrid build, mainly solo. Is this a pat on the back for me? not even remotely, I was not the first and I wont be the last. However, with the new energy situation and difficulty of mobs, that way of leveling is not really feasible, and not very enjoyable- to me- This goes for other classes too, solo play is not just a druid issue.

I know of very few boss fights where a GOOD druid will be sitting out, throwing the odd natures touch and considering this a job well done. I dont know, maybe I am being unfair, for this I apologise, but really, if this is what you are doing then, you have an energy problem

Although, on the other hand,if you, as a lower level than 150+ druid find that is not a problem, then by all means, say that for your level and lower, but dont put yourself in the same boat as them, really, you cannot understand until you are of a similar level. This being said, maybe I should not have an opinion either, only being level 140!
