Unless attitudes and resentment towards each other changes nothing changes ,so i wont engage in this any further. If this was reality i would be a big advocate of my dream. My instincts said don't post, don't post, not worth it,then post,my bad lol so I am sry for fueling the fire that already burns.Fun is what you make it,I sincerely wish most of you all the best. Cyas in the game sometime just for the fun of it:)
Franz, unfortunately, I do not know you well. I remember leveling in the same area as you and you have always seemed like a nice guy. Additionally, some folks from respect have become friends of mine and they speak highly of you, so that sits well with me. That being said, I feel it important to note that, like clan membership composition, clans change. Their cultures change. Their outlooks change. And each clan has their standup members who epitomize quality and their difficult members who may not exude a respectful clan culture.
I can say that I have had the pleasure of getting to know some really great people in Awake, Revenge, and a number of other clans. And that is what keeps me coming back. Although I am newly a member of Awake, I have enjoyed my time here as I have gotten to know my new clannies from the inside, many of whom I had had good experiences with from the outside looking in. Yet, I believe I have a mutual respect, friendship and admiration with a number of people in other clans, including Revenge.
Are there those who take inter-clan relations poorly and become resentful? No question. There always have been and there always will be. But in the time that I have been playing, I have seen clans rise and fall. And, most important, members of rival clans at one time can become members of the same clan later, and vice versa. Whether Epic/United or Awake/Revenge or anything in between, long term anger and resentment (as compared to the occassional but inevitiable short term frustration) seems a bit short-sighted. And respectfully (no pun intended), that long-term anger and resentment is, unfortunately, far more vocal.
Enjoy your ch retirement/break. If we don't see you, best of luck in your other endeavors. If we see you again, hopefully a little break will give you a bit more optimism when you return.
