Shara, I tested h2h vs. Totem + golden fire blade by auto attacking a tank with no regens or armor for 2 minutes. Same h2h and totem ability. I averaged the total hp remaining from the tank over 3 attempts.

At the end, the results were:
h2h depleted 30% of the player
totem depleted 70% of the player

So as you can see, totem is by far the greater dps. I would definitely recomend it for soloing more than a h2h build.
