If there are issues with bosses we are very happy to look into them and improve them, but remember for aggro there are many factors in the enemy AI including things like relative level, distance from enemy, direction enemy is facing etc, it's not just about spamming one skill, to be most effective at managing aggro the behaviour and composition of the group makes a big difference.
I held the aggro fine like all the bosses before today. But I saw this boss turn around and kill my dps each time it used a skill. Literally. Each. Time. Normally, the only thing Ignus is able to cast while it's being kited is Spit Fire when I'm at a safe distance from quake. But this time he turned around and slammed dps even when I held the aggro. And I can confirm this because Ignus started walking back to me without me having to taunt after using those skills, which were not aimed at me.

Why are bosses suddenly aiming for people that don't have the most aggro?

You just answer your issue your self read admin answer and your post and you will see the issue, if you don't see i will tell you

Because kitting jam the skill hits but you are off range for skill hits the boss will skill hit players in his skill range. And walk to you for regular hits this is normal.

Pshh seems like they fixed the loop hole now kitting will not jam skill hits and hit any player in their area range. Solution walk slow in their skill range you will still get skill hit .

What is so wrong with the bosses being more intelligent now?

There is nothing forcing a DPS toon to not have enough health to withstand one boss attack. Obviously it is a tradeoff, do you want to die if attacked to maximize dps or do you want to reduce dps some and die less.

If I fight two foes and one bola me I would attack the other if in range. Thats common sense.

The only way im ever going to be happy with this clan only balanced group non-sense in the long term is if bosses actually force us to use tactics that evolve. Tank w/druids + dps is overly simple and simply rasing the dmg and lowering the time to kill, and successes of skills, is not making it more complicated and dynamic, its simply making it harder and limiting it to higher lvls. Leveling is not hard it just requires time.

IMO This will create the same scenario, forcing players to lvl consume all content in 2-3 months and then nag for 9 months that its not enough content. The gap on gear and lvls will never close from new clans/players. I think a hard lvl cap soon will be the best move.

Because spend time to lvl and be force to relay on others to do simple quest is annoying.

Actually, otm opened the door to another method similar to kiting that completely eliminates the need for rogues and warriors aside from helping with add control and the occasional (but ultimately unnecessary) skill hit to assist in moving things along. Rangers, mages, and druids are all you need.

So you like it how aggro does not stick to one person now? They really did kill tanks, and your post is in support of them killing it.

Kiting is not dead. It is how you kite and how many rangers you have. If one ranger bolas avoids tank useful with bash this way it gives bolas to regen to be used again. Two rangers with max bolas much useful if three even better. But you need to communicate with tank group if no communication than yes you're all going to die.

I would say with a decent expose weakness 1 ranger might beable to keep the bolas
