I think OTM purposely limits skill points so that not all characters are the same - you have to make tough choices and characters can be very very different.
That being said, the number of skills has likely doubled since update 2, while the number of skill points has remained the same (though we have rings which may be, on average another 10-20 skill points). It would be nice to have some extra points (via quest, or 1 pt/10 levels or something) and extra ring slots.
Perhaps one of the best things they could do, since we have so many skills, is have a repeatable quest that gives you an alteration book (something time consuming, on the order of fairlyland quest) - then we could try out new skills. It would also be nice to have the skills page work more like the stats, so it is easy to put 35 points into a skill, not have to hit the upgrade button 35 times - so altering could be fast. If i had alter books, i would try out all kinds of things to find which one was the best for me.
