Re: Camping the pirite vendor

Then this shop is either bugged or the rares are too rare. I sank 300k into the shop and not a single one popped up.
Convenient, though, how sigils can get refunded into platinum after years of use, but I can't get a refund for a in-game shop that is bugged. Where was the disclosure on this before I purchased? Seems to me Support has stated in so many threads that they will provide a refund if we are not satisfied with an item. If this shop was different they should have stated so up front.
You can't be serious... there is a very large difference between being dissatisfied with an item and getting a refund, and dropping 300K in order to get a shirt and expecting that money back.

Would you expect a refund on a lotto ticket after the numbers had been announced?

What you did (and there is nothing wrong with doing so) is like exploratory mining. You drop money into a stake hoping that what you want will turn up. Expecting your money back is foolish, however.

I did it to prove a point. I piss 300k, so that's not the issue. The issue I wanted to point out is:
1. Sigils should never have been refunded for those who took advantage of them for a long period of time (regardless if they are dissatisfied now, they still benefited from them for a very long time. If I can't get a refund for some fashion, someone who benefited from an item for years should not get a refund as well.).
2. You can't offer refunds for all items and then not disclose that a new shop is not the same (I can argue that I am dissatisfied with the odds of the shop because the odds are not publicized).
3. I have already proved that prices in the shop are bugged (making me think rares in the shop could be bugged as well. I have yet to hear of anyone obtaining rares from the shop on my world after the most recent patches and find it hard to believe that after 300k it isn't bugged. I bought the cheapest items from the store to force rares to spawn. They didn't spawn, well after purchasing over 100 items. 1 in 100 would be terrible odds in itself, these odds seem much higher if it is even working correctly).

The difference here is I know the shops prices are bugged for a fact, so there is a good chance the rest of the shop could be bugged as well (not to mention there is no refund for the price bug). And no, I wouldn't expect a refund from a lottery where you know the odds, know there are winners, prices are fixed, and you know it works. However, this situation is like going into a grocery store where the store says everything can be refunded (even an apple that you have taken a bite out of and decide it just isn't ripe enough), but the only thing they won't refund is a lottery ticket after you have already purchased it, not to mention they sell lottery tickets for different prices for the same tickets, you have no idea your odds, and you question if there is even a reward at all.

Don't get me wrong, I knew there was probably a 1% chance to get a refund. I am just making a point that things should be disclosed ahead of time to differentiate between the old track record and that the system should actually be functioning properly.

Waiting on the first refusal of a refund by people purchasing tons of fashion then return ticketing it to blow through and get free rares. Lmao.
Lol I called this. Also the EULA is completely one sided OTM. They can do anything at any time for any or no reason short of committing serious crimes not related to the game and you can do nothing about it.
