Hey,

Since mages seem to be super OP atm, I've decided to try building up my mage to be my bossing/leveling buddy.

ATM he is lvl 70 with full met/quartz, and I would like to be a fire-focused kind of build. (less energy and good for leveling). Energy is no problem for me, for I have Royal/Grand/Fabled Sacrifice rings and a level 134 druid to heal offgroup.

To do this I will of course have the mandatory fire skills Firebolt and Firestorm.

Now, for the other two skills, I have to choose from the following:
-Cloak of Fire
-Fire Attunement
-Fire Lure
-Frost Bite
-Incinerate

Which two should I choose?

The mage has a Master Wand of the Grove equipped and a Master's Grimore, but I can go h2h if needed.

Fire attunement maxed and fire lure half maxed with the other points into cloak.

Mages are not super op atm.

As in for your question, cloak lure and attune, you only hav to half max lure bc it's enough to decrease mob resis to 0, but if you want to be good bosser than max it. I suggested 3 skills bc you will still have extra pts after you maxed 4 skills on later lvls.

You will need fire lure. Keep it at about half of your max. If you use both fire bolt and firestorm I would reccomend using fire attune because it increases the damage of both skills. Others seem to like incinerate so that may be an option but I have never really used it. (Although I have tried using it several times)

Incinerate is higher dps than fire attune but very hard on energy. Otherwise, like suggested use half max fire lure.
