Questions about Spring of Life

#1
#1 Can it be cast on yourself? I would assume it can't, but I thought I'd check just in case.
#2 Does anyone know the specific cooldown time on this skill? I've heard it's terrible, but that's rather vague...
#3 As you add more and more skill points into this skill, what changes about it's effects?
#4 I've also seen multiple places that it is useless, but no explanation why. Does this just mean it isn't worth maxing or is it truly useless?
#5 Will it do anything at all with one skill point in it?
Thanks, I realize there may not be answers to all these as I imagine people try to avoid a skill with as bad a reputation as this one, but any info helps.

#1 no
#2 not 100% but its close to 1minute
#3 The more skill points the higher level you can revive, goes up by 5 each skill point
#4 It revives the target with half the hp and only 1 energy (not sure if its been changed), the cooldown sucks and the energy cost is huge which isnt needed ontop of our problems already (30/30 uses like 600+ energy)
#5 Revivng noobs in the castle

I personally use the skill, and find it actually quite useful (but then again I am merely a bored druid)
It revives the target with half the hp and only 1 energy (not sure if its been changed)
Yes, that has been changed, although it is still a bit strange. It revives the target with 1 hp, but after 5 seconds the target gains 50*skill_level hp (so at lvl 30/30 the target receives 1500 hp after the resurrection)

I find it useful to resurrect rogues, rangers, and warriors who don't have idols during bosses, or when they just used one and the cooldown hasn't expired. I find myself using it at least twice every fight.

While I find use for this skill, I think it could benefit from the 1.5k health AND energy boost...

I will preface by saying that I have never used the skill, so the following is from memory/chatting with people about it.

1. No. Only on others.

2. One minute, I believe.

3. As you add skill points, you can resurrect higher level players.

4. The main problem most people have with it is that it resurrects the player with next to no health nor energy. You have resurrected a walking dead, so to speak, so if that character is hit by a mob or AoE skill, they are dead once more. There usually isn't enough time to heal the newly resurrected zombie before they are once again face in the mud.

5. With one skill point in it you can resurrect up to level 10, if memory serves. You could be the god of the valley of wolves, if you wish, but not much more. ;)

It does have it's purpose, and there might be a Druid in a clan that has it just in case something goes wrong at a big fight, but I would wager that is an alt Druid who is solely used for SoL and Wards or something. I don't know many main Druids who keep it in their skill bar.

Hunh... a couple responses in the time I typed, I see. Well best to get several points of view I guess ;)

I use spring of life on all three of my druids. It is very useful for me and helps me to save thousands of idols. The energy cost is what stinks. Also the range of cast is very short. Very buggy sometimes when reviving somebody at max range. Sometimes you have to take a few extra steps toward target.
