What existing areas would you like to see expanded?

#1
I was talking with Admin in beta about a month ago, and the topic came up about expanding/updating some of the existing areas in the game. I think this topic is really interesting, so I wanted to open it up to everyone to comment on.

1) What existing areas would you like to see expanded/made larger?
2) Why would you like to make this zone larger?
3) How would you like to do it?

Here are my thoughts on it. I have two zones I'd like to expand:

1) Catacombs
2) I'd like to update this zone because it is very small compared to the new zones. It was one of the first zones to be created and I'd like to see it updated to expand it's use. Because of the new areas, I can see this area falling into disuse because of the narrow range of levels this area caters to. Higher levels have no reason to go here now that shivercowl has moved out and the meteor weapon diamonds aren't used anymore.
3) I'd like to see it more the size of the sewers with varied levels of monsters and bosses. The sewers is a maze of corridors and chambers and I'd like the catacombs to be more like this.

1) Stonevale
2) The map has a large amount of blank space on it.

3) I'd like to fill in some of this blank space with new areas, more mob level variations, and moer bosses.

+1 Catacombs (I would make a door somewhere here that connects near Shiver)
+1 Stonevale (Faerie pit and Boar pit are extremely small. The faerie pit should be expanded so that Bladequeen can be relocated. Bladequeens current location can be turned into an expanded farm or for new mobs. Boar pit seems far to small for both boar bosses. IMO Boar pit, Faerie pit, and Druid pit, should all be the size of the main wisp/horse area.)

I would also like to see Lir's reach expanded more. While the map may appear full, it is still a relatively small map as well compared to new areas. I'm not sure how you can add onto it, other than add more land. I think it would be nice to have it quadrupled in size and have additional small villages, if for nothing more than to help add additional quests. If you wanted to get really creative, you could go vertical instead of horizontal, meaning place a mountain on an expanded map.

I would also like to see Farcrag Castle expanded. It would be nice if there were varying levels to the castle (not necessarily different zones, but areas where steps are involved). You could have steps where Lord MacLir stands entering into the inner chambers of the castle. If you did create new small zones, I think it would be awesome to create zones for each shop inside the buildings, much like the Tavern.

The Arena could also use a size boost. I always pictured having a second Arena with waves of mobs, instead of a PvP zone.

Crookback Hollow is a decent size right now, but it pales in size compared to the new areas. Right now you have one entrance into the sewers. I think it would be cool to expand crookback hollow so it is large enough to have two entrances into the sewers.

Shalemont and the Tavern are good sizes IMO.

i think we need several areas that are class specific. like:
-an area of mobs that have lots of health but very low dmg, high magic/fire/ice resistence (ROGUE/RANGER)
-low health but lots of dmg, high magic/fire/ice resistance (WARRIOR)
-lots of health, low dmg, low magic/fire/ice resistence (MAGE/DRUIDS)

specialized for each class, so its possible to solo lvl. agreed? :D
