moving one level close to the above mobs did not change the experience obtained, also, people 20 lvls higher but under mob lvl gained the same exp as I did

for the op it seems he/she was a higher lvl killing lower lvl mobs and collecting the data which would be incorrect as the xp drops significantly once ur over the lvl and will barely give u xp later on. If this is a correct assumption then the graph made by the data is flawed as that would be consistently changing and would only be reflected by one lvl of player.

OP was lvl 122, killing mobs below, as well as over, up to 140 mobs, as i understand it

now @ 180% group bonus
