aww Pikel, ty for the attention, but your not really helping...just annoying me... post your 170 build to really help...
Posted. Apologize if i came off too condescending.. Trying to be helpful..
How about this, I use my Essence Blade as my offhand, so I can 1000 heal myself and save resos, or focus mystic when I need that extra few focus, as well as my adamant 300+ as mainhand
I
guess the essence blade could be useful, but if you are meleeing with it, your sigils aren't active and you are close to the mob making aggro more likely if kiting and within range of an aoe. I would still rather have the 250 foc and 25 regen of the focus.
Lightning 3x over Storm means I am in combat more so my 500+ sigils do not work as often
Then why the str? If you are meleing, then your sigils aren't working anyways. Better to go full casting. With vines you can cast and sit back and regen while it does dmg. With lightning you can cast, recover from combat mode, get a tick of energy, and recast with about a one second downtime.
I am killing 170 to 180 mobs atm and I am @ lvl 150ish, max vines does nadda in groups, i use vines to kill hawkhurst... because i am a fashion H***
Granted, if you are in a large group and killing mobs fast, vines isnt so great. But, if your grp is killin fast, your dps isnt usually needed anyways and u are probably playing full support. If the mobs aren't dropping in under 20 seconds, then it is still worth it to use vines. Those four ticks will do more than storm touch. Also, it rocks on bosses and tougher mobs that take longer to kill. Vines is also good to stick on an add while rest of grp is killin first mob. If you are killing 170-180 mobs then you must be grpd and at lvl 150 you aren't doing much damage anyways and are most likely relegated to a support role. You would still be doing more dmg with vines and lightning.
I'm training first aid, bandage wound it has less agro than embrace, as a druid you should have all the heal power you can, calling it ridiculous is just ignorant IMO... not to mention i would prefer less agro than more heal potential
Bandage wounds is still a waste of pts. So may other uses for them. Embrace does create a lot of aggro. I dont use it as it is easy for me to keep up heals with touch and breath. A lvl 1 calm still works good for reducing aggro as well. You could drop the pts in sanctuary and get a 400+ eshield for whole grp and not take the dmg in the first place. Or drop into bark and not take as much dmg. I dont know of any druid who uses bandage wounds besides yourself. The slow cast time and long cooldown of bandage wounds sucks. If there are others, please chime in.
And my strength is fine since i have over 400 vit and 800 focus with my gear...
Focus powers all of your spells. I would rather have that extra 200 points in foc and increase both my dps and heals. If it is stuck in str, it its adding minimal dps to melee atks and your sigils arent active while meleing anyways.
with all my gear I heal for over 1500 and direct damage with skill for over 1250 with an auto of 200+.
Nice heal, weak dmg. If you are leveling on mobs 20-30 lvls above you, i doubt you are doing that dmg. With vines and lightning you could dbl your dmg output and use your sigils effectively. At level 150 i was running over 1.1k foc and touching for 1.4kish, breezing for 700ish, all the while using lightning and vines and getting kills on bosses and mobs while healing group at same time.
To each his own I guess... With 500 sigils and good gear you could rock an awesome hybrid caster build. Good luck!
Thanks for the concern tho
