Soo we just had a pickup group on Gnarlroot with a few good players. Myself (158) Mage, Magekate (172) Mage, Asesino (160ish) Rogue and Sidi (165) ish Druid.. All of us have decent gear, kate is an ice build and Im fire build with 44/35 bolt, 44/35 incin, 39/35 storm and 300 energy sigs.

Sidi raped us lol. Granted she has aggy dps rings but still, WTF OTM ? A full dps druid should not even be near a mage or a fkn rogue for that matter. Was this intentional ?

But the system as it is now is a joke. IMO the rog/war/mag dps was most balanced before the patch where if you wanted to be a contender as a mage it required some sigs.

Rogues have more armor than druids so a dps druid should beat them.

Any rogues that want to dissagree to that, beg OTM to give you less armor.

there are other factors when determining how much armor a class should have and comparing how much damage a class should have to how much armor they have is pretty ridiculous. For example a mage can attack at a distance while a rogue cant by that alone a rogue should have more armor to survive longer while fighting up close. Then there is the logic behind classes about how people depict what armor each class should be wearing; Mages have always used cloth armor in any mmorpg games i have played and they usually die pretty fast in a head to head fight especially against mobs with high elemental resists while rogues are usually in light armor allows for fast moves and quick strikes these usually lose to have armored mobs. In comparison mages being cloth armored characters should have low armor it only makes sense what they should change is the elemental resist on the armor but in this case as the game stands now it wouldnt make that much of a difference as there isnt a big separation between mobs and damage types.

Complaining about sidi getting kills is funny stuff. Sidis gear is ridiculous , if she were to lose to anyone not in Aggy gear it would be a shame. I got my ass handed to me by sidi so many times, in update 3 Sidi took boss kills from me . A Mage with the same level gear as sidi would beat her , the o.p. Is very misleading.

Rogues may have more armour, but, if I'm not mistaken, Druids can eat themselves pretty well in a solo fight........

It all depends on build and gear. A similarly geared rogue or mage with a good build would beat a druid. I hate how people see a druid get a kill and automatically assume that druids are op. i have gotten kills at almost every boss in game, even over toons higher lvl than me. This is due to extreme dps builds with best gear in game.

Dunno why there is so much hate aimed at druids on forums lately. Why does it seem like everyone is trying to get druids nerfed? Have you ever been healed by a druid? If it werent for druids, some osses would either not be possible or require a ton of plat to kill.

Please stop hating on druids. We were the most overlooked, unappreciated, underpowered class for a very long time. Now that we can finally contribute in multiple roles, everyone tries to hate. I just dont get it. If you have a problem with your class, post specifics on forums and try to get it changed, dont try to get other classes nerfed.

Solo; everyone is toe to toe wth the enemies. Grouping there is always 1 tank. No matter who the dps is, if they get aggro they get hit. Bosses aoe hits anyone in casting range really. When you pull aggro as a caster, the boss hits you, doesn't matter if your not right up to it.

Therefore casting spells 10 feet away vs 1 foot doesn't make a significant difference. However rogues armor bieng double a casters does.
