I thought that with Rescue, I would be able to pull anyone in my group to my spot, not just if they were in sight and I could target them. Would be more useful to be able to pull someone to a boss, back to a boss if they hit the wrong button when using an idol, or for some fun and games, etc.

Its also handy to pull dps to you when you get an add, i really liked this one others in clan not so much.

This is an excellent use for it. There is usually someone in group who has that role anyway (ie. so-and-so is on adds). So simply coordinating before the can make it a smooth process.

Rather than having to type "add" and wait for the toon to move to you, simply assign someone the add role, and let them know they will be ported to you when the time comes.
