Hey, what gives better dmg? Obsidian or diamond?
I'm talking as a fire mage (it gives fire magic). I'm also asking for chest and pants only because I won't do other quests (better gear).

I've asked some people and they said diamond but I would just like a confirmation.

Diamond focus = dps

I know 2 mages,both in the 140s.
1 uses full adamant and one uses full obsidian.
Both are fire and i hear the guy in adamant complain his bolt gets evaded often.
I think ability makes fire based skills hit more often and get less evaded.
Personally i go for obsidian as i have to pay for adamant ( dont like spending lol ) and i outleveled the armor

omfg I know, fire magic also gives dmg. and your main is a lvl 50 rogue..


Toofatforfun: the chest and pants together should give around 500 fire magic, do you think that makes a difference?

@croquette, if thats the case, your fire magic ability is 50 levels ahead of you ( ofcourse max it),i think that makes huge difference.
