Most warriors do not consider Hybrid as a build or type. But in this case it is and more and more warriors are using it.
I am a lvl 86 warrior with a hybrid build (2str:3vit). I recently bought a golden blade offhand and have been considering going DPS since....
So I am posting this to understand the DPS and hybrid classes more and to see which one will benefit me the most in lvling and Pvp..
I have:

Full bloodstrike
Warden blade
golden blade of ice
greater twinsoul
4 cold damage brace
no regens!! ((

Dps is more helpful for warriors up until the 140s because there are plenty of warriors that are dps up until then when they switch to a tank. I personally play as a hybrid on my warrior so i can tank mini bosses and do good damage while leveling.

almost all dps builds are hybrids due to the cap on str which makes it pointless to continue to put more and more str into ur build. With frozen i believe the cap is around 300 with a golden blade u get 75 and depending on other gear u could only need to put another 100 stat points into str to hit the cap. With this all remaining points can go into vit which causes u to have a hybrid build as u will have a decent amount of hp while having the optimal dps for ur lvl. At even higher lvls u can get away with a hybrid build without even putting any points into str as the gear available allows this, lvl 150 2 str aggy bracelets 150 axe and some str rings if needed. This will give u 300-500 str without ever putting any points into str and will allow u to switch roles at the cost of just a red book. Also if ur not the main tank and can get away with it u could have one set up that will be good for almost any situation which would be; shatter, stance, taunt, double attack, with these 4 skills u would have a good amount of damage while being ready to tank at any moment if needed which will allow for an easier playing time without plat cost.

i go with hybrid because im not one of those guys that hangs out in castle and just pvps; i like to level and get somewhere in the game

You can also be tank and good at leveling. All I do is get lots of luxury items that give me damage and str and put almost all of my stat points on to vitality

Isn't a tank that also has lots of str and dmg a hybrid?

i have almost no strength and lots of vit

i get all my damage from my gear and skills
