If any of you still play. Are you actually succeding in playing as a ranger. Imo its not even worthwhile to play as one anymore.

No imo rangers now suck.... Almost all the reason i lvl mine is because i can triple log and bolas bossing helps a ton

as u see in my sig i quit mine and went back to my mage but i might as well quit him to cuz mages and rangers got nerfed so bad, i feel everything should go back to like v3 for both classes

There are a lot of active 150+ rangers out there, myself being one of them (168). If you love playing the ranger class as I do, you can find a way to make playing worthwhile. My build that was great for soloing in V3 didn't work all that well when the update dropped. I kept rebirthing and alting until I found a new build that works well for me. I solo mostly still, but I also can work well in groups. A ranger/rogue (or dps warrior or epic mage)/druid trio works very well for leveling.

Certainly, we don't have the greatest DPS in the game, but we are still very much needed for bosses. My clan usually has 2-3 rangers on bosses, so I think it's beyond well worth it to continue leveling up and contributing to the "current end-game". I have 2 other characters that I play when I get cranky and need a break from ranger, but I always come back to it.

Moral of this post: It's only worth what you want it to be worth.

+1 to this. But i also agree with pherra. I usually train alone or with another ranger so my problem is the fact that i try to play the ranger but the nerf was so bad toward everyone who had a str dex solo build that i cant even play anymore.

+1 but i'm continuing playing it cause i put a huge amount of work into it without even one penny spent on plat so i'd hate to go that to waste. I had assumed that after over 500 posts (probably more) OTM would bring some major change in rangers and mages (Dont know much about mages)

mages suck too now in lots of way they need armor increase . well thts off topic but it was introduced by me 2 lol but back to rangers

they need a dps increases!!!! our dps got nerfed by more than 50%!!! then we got 25% back we still missing some. it was hard to work on rangers just seems like any class now is pay to succeed. pherra i agree with u tho too but wats ur build i got a decent one it was working ok for me

no class sucks. if some class might "suck" its prob its owner
my rogue "suck", but its mostly cuz idk how to build and play on rogues

anyway, class wont be nerfed by adding skills, its other classes got better, like warrior who still has some problems imo (with dragonlord, and quest weps, other than that its got a lot better)
i didnt play my ranger a lot lately since i was on a break, i do think now rangers need good amount of rejuv, but, the class got awesome skills, so many good stuff for this class that i see ppl can barely choose how to build their rangers

in my world, Belenus, we got a lot of strong rangers, i dont see even one problem with them, or maybe some energy regen
but even with energy regen problems, ranger is the best class IMO for full auto build, which saves
i do think full auto rangers might be better on dps, but i love support and i cant find myself playing with barely using skills

anyway, hope u will realize ur wrong and wont try get other rangers to quit too
ranger is a fun, easy lvl, strong and awesome class, classes never get nerfed, they just get better and better. I would like to see pre update rangers do as much dps as now
