I have been reading the forums and have been very interested in Taranis too. I have several toons spread across 6 servers but it seems like everytime i log on, someone whispers me to become their online husband. Wtf is that? I a happily married in Real life and probably a bit older than most, and would prefer to find a place where I can play the have fun and get away from the chaotic real world for a bit. I already have a job and don"t need a second one either. Overall, would you say this server would welcome someone like me?
Also, is there a friendly clan that accepts all levels where I can grow with the clan as I level? I would prefer more casual one but not empty!
Thanks for reading! =^.^=
Re: What's Taranis like?
#12Well thats a thing most servers have people that want to be a online couple. But here on Taranis you are more than welcome.
In my clan Pride there are people that are married and have kids and there are few clans you could join till you are high enough to join the main clans. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: What's Taranis like?
#13Thanks for your reply. I personally haven't understood the premise behind level requirements for a clan because:
1. You don't get to know the clan members until much later and the experience of leveling with the same members (not just to move to another clan when you are high enough lvl) is priceless
2. As indicated before, I don't want a second job but lvling takes time and if lvl requirements are mandatory, then my "MMO" experience becomes more single-player.
3. I get that people may want a lvl requirement because they want active players but as seen from this forum, there are plenty of people with high lvls who are "retired" and to me, lvl doesn't indicate activeness just like age doesn't indicate maturity.
Is your clan "Pride" currently recruiting? It sounds like something I would enjoy. If so, is there a particular class you are lacking or need more of? I will be happy to lvl that you.
I appreciate your response.

Re: What's Taranis like?
#15Haha! Thanks anyways. I would be interested in having a discussion to see reasons why people make level requirements in the first place. Oh well, I suppose this may not be the game for me afterall. I greatly appreciate your responses tho! It's really helped put things in perspective for me. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: What's Taranis like?
#19Guys I will be leaving taranis permanently. I used to like taranis but people keep trying to hack me and I am being called noob from a lot of people. Some people from my own clan! Dont get me wrong, pride is awesome, but some people don't think I'm good at the game-Matthew18
