Druid solo leveling? build? what to do?

#1
currently i am wanting to keep leveling up and find that there are not many people that want to level or are not on enough to level with me, since the update i feel its much harder to train a druid solo at a high level. I am wondering if anyone out there does it and if so is it efficient? if it is please share your build with me because i would love to be able to level some more =) thanks!!

I think generally everyone will say yes druids can still solo level but its not efficient as we are not lethal enough in damage and it loses out to group levelin. This however is the same for all classes in terms of group leveling.
MorphMarfa has retired from Celtic Heroes and most probably wont be resurfacing. He had a enjoyable time during his druid adventures in Taranis.

well i did most of my XP in soloing. And i wont use XP-Potions, but to level in groups is much more easy and faster.

i did the hard way, and i wouldn't want you to do it like me.

druids are ment for Heals, and not for taking and dealing damage.

If u max ur healpower u could level with a group of ppl 10 lvls or more higher than u. couse ur heals are good enough. And if the group knows how to, you wont die :)

I can solo and group level with my current build but as everyone said solo levelings not that efficient. I gain around 6-7% per combo. Current setup.

Maxed touch, winds, vines, strike and storm. Winds is probably my favorite utility skill. Helps with my evades along with rangers and rogues who have dex. My key to soloing and group leveling. The best heal is not having to.

Stats. 5 str, 200 dex (needed for winds), 395 focus i think.., 300 vit. The dex is needed to help with winds and given the focus plateau it doesn't hurt to have them there instead. Some will probably argue this but it works for me. The vit is to survive aoes and skill hits along with the occasional evading of winds.

Gear. Full ancient beastbone with dragon gloves and boots (switch between dragon and beast boots depending on whether I'm soloing or grouping), 150 regen crown, 150 aggy nature magic book, 150 focus lux.
Jewelry. 40 regen ammy, 150 lightening strike charm, 20 energy regen bracelet, imperial wyrm brace, royal strike, grand winds, vines, and storms.

Works well enough for me in both solo leveling and group leveling. As far as groups go focus on keeping winds up on all mobs and heal along with adding dps in between. I really like the fact that with this setup if we start getting swarmed with winds I can tank an add or two while control is reestablished. Also works well with bolas walked bosses for extra dps.

Main problem with this build, as per every other druid, is energy. That's why at the beginning I mentioned combos because they do help with regen. Although even on a combo with 500ish energy sigs i still have to pop some restos occasionally.

Try it out if you'd like. It may work for you or it may not. Still might help guide you to a build that does work for you. :)

I solo all the time and have decided it is the fastest way to level. Been leveling once a day even at my level. I max vines, bees, storm touch, lightning, and sit on my dragonstaff and shoot fireballs. Its really that simple. Just make sure you got 2k sigils cause my bees cost 800 energy.

Ps. I havnt seen you killaman in months. Since when have you been trying to level!? You quit last update lmao.

This build works great, my exact build atm. One purpose only, for levelling. Without touch it helps too have a heap of restos, I mean HEAPS!!! I usually use about 35 per elix which is absolutely crazy, curse our crap armour :x

Ps: I usually level in about 4-5 HEROIC knowledge elixers at the fire boggans while dual logging my lure Mage with 29 magic lure :P

Druids are more about heals now just be a pure healer it's easier
The op is not asking whether solo or pure healer is better. He's asking about solo because there aren't enough people to group with or people not wanting to group. Every class gets better xp in groups as opposed to soloing so different people choose to solo for different reasons.

As for solo leveling build I'll say you can do it couple different ways. First off if you don't mind using energy lixes/resto pots while you level then by all means max out your skills but if you don't want to use energy lixes/resto pots then dont max skills and spread your points out.
Now if you have gear that adds dex (lesser/greater/radiant earthstone boots/greaves, dex rings etc) then you don't need to put points in dex but if you don't have access to or can't afford those things or feel like you need more dex then a build like maxxee would work just fine.

For build with dex gear (this is best in my opinion):
Skills: If you have es gear you will have low armor so you will want to put points in bark as this will help to reduce damage taken which means less focus on healing yourself and more focusing on killing the enemy. Also one cast of natures embrace heals more over time than one cast of nature touch at same level. Granted nature touch can be cast more often but if your looking to save energy, embrace may be better to put more points in embrace than touch. Howling wind is necessity but you need a decent amount of dex with it in order for it to work effectively. Howling wind by itself is useless. I use earthstone on my Druid and I have about 760 defense and almost maxed howling wind and I hardly get hit during a kill. On 2 to 3 star enemies I cast embrace once and don't need to cast touch unless hw evades. On 4 star I may need to cast touch once or twice depending on evades. For damage skills pick two or three you like but make sure vines is one of them because Hands down vines is definitely druids best dps skill.
Build: I recommend 200-300 vit and rest in focus or unless you have problems with interruptions you can add 50-100 in dex.The nice thing about this build I think is it makes your heals, buffs and damage skills more powerful.

For build with low or no dex gear:
Skills: You will probably want to have embrace and/or touch. You can choose between bark and abundance. Since Druids have low armor anyway I like bark the best but you may not need a lot of points in it if your evading a lot. Also remember you won't be evading skills just the enemies auto hits unless you have the 1 million staff which is great for evading skills.
Max or close to max howling wind. And pick 2 to 3 damage skills also. If energy is an issue i would recommend to pick one or two heals, hw, and 2 damage skills and include energy harvest. Energy harvest may not be the best but can still be useful when your low on energy.
Build: 200-300 dex, 200-300 vit and rest in focus

Lol sounds like a huge e eater. I would try it but I "only" have 1.3k sigils :D

TBH, I find it very difficult for any druids to solo level unless you have insane amount of sigils and good enough gears to produce high dps. I have duo'd before with a mage with maxed magic lure and I was absolutely smashing it so I'd suggest you to find a mage friend to lvl with. Otherwise, be prepared to spend hundreds of cash on sigils lol
