Hi, I am just making a new ranger and I am wondering if anyone can tell me the scaling for rapid shot? Mine currently is lvl 15 and I believe it lasts for 15 seconds. At first I thought it was 1 second per lvl then I remembered it had a base time (5 seconds?) so I was wondering if anyone knows how much time I gain per 1 lvl into it.

As a side note I was thinking about it, and you could wear +10, +9, +8, +7 rings and whatever other gear you have that boosts rapid shot. 40+34/40 would be pretty close to being able to use rapid shot forever... Anyone ever attempted that?

lol i spose i can sort of c the logic behind that.
however what are the odds if getting +10 9 8 and 7. im in crom and have only seen 2 +10 rings meditate and ward of magic

Skills cannot go beyond level 50.

the cap lvl of each skill is 50
and rapid shot isnt the best skill atm, i would suggest u to change it

cooldown is something which is very important, lots of skills are useless cuz of their cooldown
for example, entangle, lame cooldown altough the skill is good
sanctuary, im not sure how good it is, but the cooldown is lame
and now, rapid shot, another lame cooldown, skill that will be effective only at lvl 46+

To make use of rapid shot you need to be running a high str build with damage buffing skills (sharp wep, steady, etc), this doesn't leave much in the way of other damage skills, which aren't even as useful when skilled for auto hits.

The problem isn't the cooldown. Be realistic who wants to spend 20% more haste (over haste ring 30%) with 50 skill points. The amount of dmg you would need to make from it is crazy. Because first of all its all dmg which misses constantly.. Then your not doing dmg if your using a skill and atm skills are now the new dmg medium. Plus with all the haste lix and combos out now.. Why? Even if i could do it the entire time with no downtime from the cooldown it still imo wouldn't be OP. Now if it stacked on haste ring were now talking something serious.

He's not saying it is slower than haste ring, he's saying it isn't a greater deal faster than it. Which is true, and to think it was even slower when the update went live. Really disapointed in all the nerfs we received.
