rupture is a great skill but the bad part is it requires a blunt or axe
thats why i dont use it

i dont wanna retrain my axe ability

My Anti-Caster pvp build is:

Shield bash
Shield wall
Shatter
Rupture
Double attack

Gear is important - best shield to use is Ravager shield for 150 str combined with full vit stats
Stats - Full Vit
Bracelets - maximum Ice/Fire/Magic resistance (lux ones)
Rings - Lux Vit rings
Regen ammy
Armor - Best available for resistances


U dont need much regen - the fight will end in 15 secs max.

Start fight - Use Shield bash, Shatter, Rupture, Shield wall, Finish him with double attack.

No Mage or Druid has ever survived that. The most HP ive ever lost is about half and that was due to evades.

As a side note - Rupture is a must have to fight any class - the Dot helps finish off players who bolas/root/freeze u and run away.

Lol, im fine without rupture...and i beat level 130s. Ill add it anyway

Without shield bash mages can cast spells tend hole point of his build is to stun first use the stun to cast shatter which will lower the armor use rupture so the dot has the maximum amount of time to work at maximum benifets and by the time the stun wears off u cast shield wall to stop the in comin damage by this time they should be dead. Without a shield u cant bash or use wall then its just a fight for who does more damage a warrior can still win with shatter rupture double attack but it becomes much harder especially with high damaging mages.

I don't know if you all knew this but you could swap offhands during a duel... Get the best of both worlds

This is true but usually by the time u switch weapons and switch back u waste time personally i like to use a fast weapon use shatter then switch to a ymir hammer to use double attack and rupture but by switchig weapons i usually waste 1-3 secs.

It doesn't make it harder. You would do more damage = faster kill. Yes you would also take more damage, but you still win and the fight lasts less.

I'm a fast swapper. It takes some practice but when you get it right, you can be shield walling with an axe out haha

When you swap a lot, you miss a lot of the action since you'll be in your inventory waiting for a swap at times. If I explained, you'd get lost in the middle lol. In the end, you'll take 75% of the original damage you would have taken. And if you're against another warrior with shatter, you can bash after shattered and then time a shield wall. I've done it many times with axe swap in between the two skills and then again after shield wall.

I'm not your average warrior. I come up with and test a lot of things including strategies. You can take my word for what I said and apply it to your own duels and improve. You may not get it right the first few times but if you do, you'll quickly see what I mean.

Would a build like this work based on what everyone has said here?
