Why are ppl using staves! Gj Avalon. Is he harder than before the patch?
A ton, in my experience. More factors you have to look out for.

Warrs have no ranged attack. With staves (tempests one) it allows ranged attacks . I just enjoy being able to hit imo. :D
He enraged on us. Try tanking a boss when he is enraged. Ouch.

We know we need more dps, and that will come eventually, then we can kill him under 15 minutes. Then we don't have to resort having melee dps to using wands :)

Congratulations Avalon!

After attempting him just now we've learned a lot and will be going after him again later today to try to score a kill. As of now without completely bringing mass amounts of people he seems extremely difficult, which is good. It's a great encouragement for people, especially DPS, to push for 185 + in lvls.
