I was wondering what the bess skill setup is?

Mine are 20/20 sharp 26/20 longshot 17/20 ligh 20/20 bolas 15/20 double
The rest are at 1.

If anyone can provide insight of how my skills should be? Is Sharpen weapons good? Better than steady?

I would recommend using steady aim as it's very useful and if possible sharpen weaps I have maxed out both of them n it gives me a boost of over 150 dmg.It also depends on ur build,if u solo or group train:) hope it helped.

Keep bolas as low as possible, but usable for training. Otherwise you end up using more points than necessary, and energy costs shoot up. I would definitely give rapid shot a try, even in its weaker version(since update 4).

Haha just to mess with you, here is my skill setup
Bolas lvl 22
Entangle lvl 22
Light heal lvl 29/32 (I switch a fabled ring for my energy regen ring when I use a bow and quiver)
Double Shot lvl 20 or 21, can't remember atm....
Double Attack same as double shot
Rapid Shot lvl 6 I think
Longshot lvl 1/9 (I use a grand and royal ring with bow)
I use def spikes with a grand and royal ring for pvp as well
With this setup, I can easily switch between knucks, spear, and bow. I don't recommend it haha

Im a str ranger so i base my dmg on auto very little on skills as im on training mode u can pick points from bolas and rapid shot to skill up ur longshot as its good even at a lvl 10 basis as i said before depends on ur build.Kerp bolas at 5 lvls above u n u should be good to go

Dont use Bolas if u are a dex oriented Ranger.

I am bout lvl 80 and maxed:

25/20 Longshot
20/20 Sharpen
20/20 Light (must have!)
4/20 Rapid Shot (not more! u need 4 Skill Points in here, so that your Next Sharpen Shot will be ready just at the moment, your Rapidshot Buff expires!)
20/20 Steady Aim
5/20 Double Shot (But as a Dex Ranger, u can keep it at 1/20) so if u have sharpen Weapon put the points in 5/20 Sharpen Weapon.
When u reach 90 use alt book and max Longshot > Sharpen > Light Heal first! Then the rest of points in other skills according to this prio list.

As LvL 80 i can easily solo 3 Stars Lvl 93, 2 Stars Lvl 95! Works very very nice!*. Lvl 80 Monsters are two hit. (Longshot DMG can go to 800, Sharpen 300-400, Autohit is at 150-200)

* = Full Warden Armor, Golden Quiver of Ice, Dia Bow, And at least Golden Ammy needed.

100 Str
245 Dex
40 Foc (which could be reduced)
120 Vitality (which should be more!)

Bossing/training skill setup teaser:
*points usage is total skill points, not from separate builds. . .using rings/agg braces/full dl armor

longshot
sharp shot / double (if ur melee is high and ur still around lvl 90 sharp is lower)
light heal
steady aim

rest in double (if u maxed sharp) or sharpen weps

thats something i rather using as dex ranger, bolas no cuz hes low lvl for bosses
