I don't think we need a world chat. Like some of the people said before me, I don't want to hear spam from lir's. And shouts are already used for selling stuff 90% of the time.

But it would be great to be able to see the location of group members on the maps!

The only reason I have ever wanted to world chat is because I wanted to sell something.

Having a consignment shop would be much better. Put it on the shelf stick a price on it and if someone buys it the gold goes in your bank account.

I think world chat would be great but only at very high lvls. IE serious gamers can only chat and most serious gamers dont spam...i say most. So if it comes in the update i would say lvl 120 and up can world chat, if top is going to be 130.

Just think about It, that would be the unofficial Beggar's Channel. You literally wouldn't be able to talk in clan or group from the chat spam of people begging.

I wouldn't be against perhaps a trade channel, but have it be able to toggled off and on, be able to view the chat log and fight log separately. So you could peruse it After a boss fight.

I say no for sure. It would only cause problems, like noobs from lirs shouting for stuff, and beggars. And yes, there are some level 30 noobs who do this.

Also, with all those people shouting it would be difficuld to play, as a lot of lag might occur. Way too many noobs would use it, you wouldnt even be able to read all the chats from wispers and your clan.

That wouldnt be a bad idea at all. limit world shouts to one every 5 minutes or so. I like it.

I think the only thing that is really needed that is missing is a mailbox feature... It would be great to be able to leave a message for a friend (only a friend IMO though).

I think the world chat is a good idea, but only if you are lvl 50+. But, there shouldn't be a world player list, because in my own clan (which is big), the game crashes because of how many people there are. If it were the whole world.............everyone would have a (more) serious lag, and would crash more than now.
