Re: Focus, unneeded?

I agree with nodnarb that some damage increase is needed. Not a ton, but some. Either a slight buff in lightenin or vines or another small damage attack. The problem I see is with 1v1 pvp. Any match between a decent warrior vs Druid or a Druid vs Druid will end up in a stalemate 90% of the time. Thewarrior won't be able to kill the Druid because of roots and the Druids damage will be next to nothing against full warden gear. Druid vs Druid is an obvious stalemate because of heals, low damage and the fact that most Druids dump all their points into vitality.

Why do you think roots will be such a valuable skill in pvp. Its lvl limit is 90 by the time you have you skill maxed after maxing all your important skills you will be lvl 86. roots will become an utterly useless skill cause everyone is gunna lvl up very quickly.

I say that roots would be usefull simply because I'm assuming that they are going to up the max lvl of it. It makes no sense for them not to. If it is left unchanged, then I agree that it will be useless. That would be a sad waste of a skill (and a great opportunity to royally piss off some warriors and rogues).

I'd be astounded if they don't increase the max skills of each class

It's the same for a Rogue's Hide, probably a Ranger's Bolas, etc.

I think a Burn Energy skill would be interesting. Rather than more dmg, you'd be able to affect the dmg output of the enemy by draining their energy pool or lowering their regen rate.

I once through out the idea of a darkside to our classes. Myne of course mainly focused on what druids would do but energy drain i think was among them. As was a few other things i might drag the subject back up after update three to see what dark twist i can add to the new skills. But when i do i would like to hear some of your comments and see what your ideas of a dark (Whatever class you want) Should be i think this implemented into the ame would be a fun little choice. But along with that darkside much like starwars would be a light side increasing the strength of some things of cource naturaly the light side for a druid would have better damage then we do now and have godly like heals. The dark side would be more based on overall damage such as draining like while incapasitating the enemy for a short ammount of time and resurection seeing as necromansy was a fround upon practice.

The answer is simple we need to do more damage to be able to level !!! It takes me so long to kill the mobs that give me exp that someone half my level comes and kses me in seconds !!! I dnt mind it takin time to kill and wen I,m alone inthe grove I will happily take up to 10 mins to kill a high level whisp but every single high level avatar in my world hunts or farms in the grove and most of vicious little rogues will ks anything but take great delight in ksing my Druid !!!! Now she is also a favourite of the clans but most times wen a warrior or friendly rogue try to help they have to log out for me to get the win !!! This is hardly fair but please do not think I want the Druid to b an attacking avatar becoz I love silvers ability to help and heal and thats an awesome part of this game !!! I reserve further judgement til we have 3rd update and we shall see wat they do :)

I kinda disagree.

Druids are much more powerful at higher lvls than other classes, and so it taking much more time to lvl is fine with me. And when other classes whine about the Druids strengths in PvP I will simply ask them to have the time to lvl a Druid up, because it takes TIME to do it. We just need a touch, a spot of extra dps which will come with increases from items to our nature magic but after that, anything more will be too much.

Hey there, we are looking at a damage spell for druids where you charge up power into your staff, and then the next thing that gets hit by the staff will have the power unleashed onto them.

Does that sound like a good new damage skill for druids?

Thanks!

I concerned about the spell. Do we need to keep recharging the weapon per charge? Because part of the current issue Druids have is all the precasting they at times need to do before attacking a target, be it embrace and roots, or bark and embrace... If we need to bark, embrace and charge any other class will kill what we are about to attack in the 15 secs it takes to precast.

I'm not adverse to the idea, but it would need to be a Charge Buff, like a Buff that PROC's the weapon based on the lightning dmg cast or something..like that. I just am concerned on the number of casts before we engage will become riddiculous
