Ok guys, stand back. Pro tank/hybrid coming through. This a good way if you buy lux. Definitely a heroic ammy. Put all your stats on vit. Every single freaking stat point. Then at lvl50... buy a blade!! That is a beautiful build. Full vit, gold blade/axe heroic ammy. Throw some hero gloves in there if you can afford it. That build is somewhat of a tanky hybrid.

If you do not buy lux. Get 30-50 focus. No dex. And keep str and vit close.

Thats a tank build. But heres what im using now

I forgot but everything else in vit

works out pretty well

That's no tank build? Its a hybrid leaning more to the tank side. Its full vit, while at the same time using dps gear. The skills can be split between tank and dps skills.

I also have a question.
Wouldn't a hybrid be someone who can do more dps than a full tank but is also to some extent able to take on a tanks role by holding aggro and taking the hits?
So in order to really be a hybrid don't you need taunt?
Some warriors I know say otherwise, namely, that they are a hybrid but they don't have any tank skills so even if they have the hp to tank they won't get the aggro over a rogue or a mage (or even a healing druid at times)

Some hybrids just switch their dps gear to full tank gear depending on the fight. Others (like me) just have taunt maxed with ProcStance and all other are dps skills.

What I'm trying to ask is if a warrior with no aggro control skills can be classified as a hybrid since if they do not have an aggro skill they won' be able to take on the role of a tank.

Hybrid: A hybrid is a build that allows a warrior to take on both roles at any given time. This is not a role

they just have a decent amount of hp so if all the dps do die he/she can tank the boss for a little bit so the dps can get back in the game

hybrid isnt just tanking, hybrid is also having balanced stats and skills, dps and tanking skills, but most hybrids will have higher vit, all the players ik that got too much str, are those who buy plat and do - skill pot skill pot skill pot

both the full vit with dps gear and skills and balanced (well i have 105 base str 300 total and like 705 vit total) are very good builds
im using the balanced stats and i have a friend whos also strong and got the full vit with dps gear and stats

Before I hit 160 my build was:

str 300

focus 20 (very important to have 20, more is a waste less is useless)

dex nothing

vit everything else

This gave me about 3600 hp and 900 damage with my gear. Enough to tank most ow bosses and easily enough for 150 to 160 lvling.

At 160 I changed to full tank but with different gear for either dps or tank.

I have 5 base str and with dps gear I still have 1423 damage and 7000hp.
With tank gear on and no buffs I only have 350 damage but 9000 hp.

So my advice is stay hybrid till 160 when you can buy good gear and save your gold. I wear an 8 slash bracelet, an aggy gladiators bracelet of sword, 2 40 damage rings, a 45 damage ring and a ring of haste in dps mode so your build may vary if your items are different.
