Re: Dragonlord drama

Hello again,

I may be dumb but could someone summarize for me what is the outcome of this topic? I cannot make heads or tails out of it.

The outcome seems to me like that the conclusion is that we are not able to agree on any solution satisfactory to the majority. Or am I wrong?

Also I have read other topics on the same matter (e.g. by Thoro) but I am still very confused because I read similar ideas over and over and they are over and over dismissed.

It all looks to me like:
1) You basically want to stick to the old system. Who is at the fight and is the same class as drop rolls for the drop no matter if he or she needs. Of course you can pass on a roll and give up the drop but only silly old men like me do that. :-)
2) Most are not willing to support others and are afraid that no one will support them after. So the best way to equip high levels is to be friends with them and support them by giving them drops out of free will and hoping they will repay back in time (or at least buy you a virtual beer, wine, or soft drink if you are underaged :-)).
3) Seems like the majority agrees that DL drops should not be sold and they should be only traded or given away. However if someone is willing to pay for them it is not forbidden to buy or sell them and no one will do ugly faces on the buyer or the seller (unless it is your mischievous under-leveled clan mate who got the drop you needed only by your goodwill and just sold it to your mortal enemy :-)).

If 1) and 2) and 3) is true, could we please
a) stop talking about it and
b) stop the drama about who gets what
so we could finally enjoy the game? :-)

Toy summed it up it seems. Yes alot of posts trying myself to cath up on all the reading.
I think what toy said goes. While we wnna equip higher lvls there are always a new class of higher lvls. There are like 10 new players who flew to lvl 180 in the last few weeks. The higher lvls will never end. Unfortunatly my greed and eventual boredom comes into play. If full equipped players cant dice anymore it will defently lead to some not being in boss fights leaving less for the fights leading to more idols and restos used by others. I am not saying i wont help bc if i have the time these days i try to join boss fights but it will happen.

So like toy said we go back to the all dice for class drops. If you wanna pass you pass. If you wanna sell if you ge a drop so be it. We all wanna be in boss fights but remeber with 2 groups nowadays you don't even get the locks for the gold dropped by the bosses. Getting drops and selling for a small value is where most of us make the gold to buy idols and elixers.

So virulent who made you king ? Mr King shyt badass
Huh?

LG made a good point. I guess I'm still holding the idea from when it was just first few 10-12 of us. There are alot of ppl shooting up to 180's and some of those ideas won't work anymore. I'm all for whatever benefits the masses.

From what I see, most votes are split. I will start a new thread to solidify votes.

And toy, i respectfully disagree with your number 2. I see people helping others all the time. Just cause you don't give everything, doesn't mean you haven't given up or loaned something.

I think the new norms are fairly well balenced.

So like toy said we go back to the all dice for class drops.
I thought that most people had voted for "Option 3: You can always dice for you color, regardless."
Well it wasnt really that way. It went if anyone there from that class needed and you didnt they got drop. And if noone needed from that class all diced. What i meant was that only that class can roll for the drop and everyone dices if you need or not.
