UCL stands for University College London and is a university in London.
A-Levels are a UK qualification and are like an advanced training in a subject after the standard training. You sit an exam and are awarded an A for 80%, B for 70%, C for 60%...all the way to an E and then a U which is a fail. To get an A* you need to complete your second year of A-Levels (which is harder than the first year) with an average of 90% or over, and have 80% at the end of the first year. So basically I'm ecstatic lol.
