Hi there im lvl 156 and ich have been Saving skill points for some time now(19 in total) and i dont know which skill i should lvl with them. I use a wyrm axe and have average gear for my lvl. My skill atm are pro stance, shatter, rupture, giantswing. My Build is Hybrid with 350str, Rest hp(4.7k) How should i spend my skill points? I dont have hp sigils, but i dont really need any bandages as i only lvl in gro, so im Rarely in need of that.

Def formation could be useful esp since u group lvl a lot

btw i suggest switching giant swing to skill like double attack or pummel

Double Attack & Pummel have faster recharge rates. I'd suggest since you have lots of strength to get double attack. Its 2 autos in 1!! With that much str, it will be really powerful, you'd do lots of damage.

Edit: Pummel is only really good with the gear. If you don't have pummel gear, use Double Attack!

pummel - with enough pummel gear, like charm, rings , anc beastbone gloves, pummel has the highest dps, fast casting, fast cooldown, very low energy cost
double attack - as an axe user, axe is slower, but double attack doesnt have wep's delay, just doubles melee, also unavoidable, pretty fast casting ,much faster cooldown and casting than giant swing


for me giant swing is the crappiest dps skill even tho the high dmg, and no it doesnt actually "hits 2 melee in one" since if ur on haste elix, then double attack can be slower than 2 melees, but double attack can sometimes hit a bit more (mostly with shatter) and unavoidable

i think giant swing is fine...but double attack is better
double attack imo does about the same damage as giant swing on a mob
the difference is the cooldown
double attacks is about 5 seconds faster

pummel has a great cooldown, ok damage, and a low energy cost...the problem is that ok damage is not good enough
ok is only slightly over your melee hit
with gear tho itll be a great skill because itll be just like a double attack or giant swing except with a good cooldown and low energy cost

Most of the times I use my dmg skills right after shatter. Then my pummel hits around 1,2-1,5k (500 melee) without shatter 800-1k (350-400 melee).

I honestly wouldnt recomend giant swing even if you have spare points it has a crazy dmg flux atleast mine does pre update and now i had it maxed and on mobs my lvl it would do 57 dmg out of 1.3k in the skills what kind of flux is that :/ i even made a post to see if anyone else had the problem but it was just the flux so i decided to use dbl attack and shatter, i even used sweeping blow at lvl 7 do to ring and it had less flux then my giant swing so up intill lvl 145 i used that then moved to pummel instead of sweeping.
