I much prefer my melees attacking what's the point if a rouge is fully equiped and only taks adds tht spawn every 2 ish min
Maybe this is why rouges on other servers feel usless maybe if u let hem attack yhe boss they can see they get majority of the kills

I have 2 noclass warbows that i lend out to my clan's high level rogues on roots bosses, which can be doubled up with a quiver (which are also also noclass) and can make a rogue actually pretty useful when given good gear. Most rogues in my clan are also dex-based, making the warbows work decently well. Yes, they will of course miss 3/5 of the time, but it is better than the massive AoE alternatives.

Your groups level faster than anyone else's groups ? That's a statement you can't back up at all . I'm sure many of us think the same way , I don't think you should be making guarantees on that one lol.

oh no, a DPS class feeling useless. end of the frickin world. like the warrior tank feeling useless on all new bosses, or the druid of past feeling useless during idol zerg and pot spam bossing. the fun part is, as all your adds run wild and free, all your bolas and root toons are laying dead... but not to worry, your back stabbing rogues feel good about themselves because they get to hit a boss. gmafb.

It takes no skilllll tp kill adds when they spawn idk how your world works but on mine we kill the adds when they sapen and the rouges get to kill the boss too much better than rooting everyy bosss and only having ranges there killimg bosses why not have everyone do it you end up killig it 10 times faster at rhe cost of what 2-3 idols ehhh seems the advantages sre better than the disadvantages

This guy knows what he's talking about.

60% of the classes are melee, 40% of them close ranged.

40% of your dps isn't needed for just adds, not when that 40% usually does about 50% of dps on normal bosses.
Roots makes melee classes useless, why don't we all go and root bosses and forget about bolas and remove rogues and warriors from game. That's a solution.

that's a nice looking skull, I can't wait to see a void druid mainhand. Havnt seen and melee main weps yet, that means Mordris will probably drop them.

100% of melee is close range. and that same 100% should be keeping adds off healers and ranged. root every boss. bolas is overrated.

I've seen pride kill bosses before also

90% of their kills are used with bolas,70% of kills are mixed groups with bolas too.

On Taranis we do use bolas, fights don't even commence with rangers missing. Only time roots is used are for adds (saves us druids when we get aggro) and when bolas has missed. Melee are in charge of clearing adds but caster classes do the same (aoe). It also doesn't mean melee can't get kills cos many times i have seen rogues get the kill. Especially sledge, lowdown and reddy (damn their good)

More than 1 way to skin a cat , in my opinion all top clans figure they know the "best" way to kill bosses , telling other clans how to kill a boss is just silly seeing as you have no clue what the make up of those attending a kill is , it's important to be able to adjust your strategy based on what's available to you.
